Oh My God

Just now, I was watching Creatively Mine on TV, and damn, there was a Malay (or was it an Indian?) acting as a fairy. Oh my god...

For manga noobs, as the arrow at the bottom indicates, read from right to left. (I remember to flip a tad too late D:)

Lol, found a striking similarity between this and the Straw Hat Pirate Crew finding out that mermaids are as... old and unattractive (^_^") as Kokoro in One Piece, so I just took the manga image and edit the words. XD Indeed, I was sort of pounding on the floor like Sanji rofl. That's where I get the idea.

[Thanks to the Chinese translation of my Taiwanese version of One Piece Volume 44, the long vertical word to the left of Sogeking translates to "NOOOOOOOO!", while the two grey speech bubbles to the left of Sanji are crying sound effects.]

Sorry if this may sound racist (but then again, I am racist o.O), but I, like Sogeking, have never heard of a fairy with dark skin.

Guess I'll recount on the school assembly today, everything else seems so insignificant now.

Celebrating International Friendship Day (note that I italics 'celebrating'), so we had powerpoint presentations on various groups of students going off to different countries, for them to share their experiences and shit. (What a great way to celebrate International Friendship Day by the way.) We have a group which went to Thailand for exchange program, a group which went to New Zealand for Geography (Vernon and Ephraim are in that particular group, I might add), and another group which went to Thailand for CIP, but no, no, no, no, no, we must let our dear principal go first. Sigh... So he went on and on and on and on about India. Gee, how many of you actually bothered about that shithole? And worse of all, he has to spend 30 minutes on it. Since he's so enthusiastic about India, why not we just send him over and live there? Do all of us a favour. Morning assembly won't be filled with "Morning school. Morning school. Morning school. Morning school. Morning school. Morning school. Morning school. Morning school. Morning school. Morning school. Morning school. Morning school. Morning school. Morning school. Morning school. Morning school. Morning school. Morning school. Morning school. Morning school. Morning school. Morning school. Morning school. Morning school. Morning school. Morning school. etc, etc, etc.", and we can actually start lessons earlier.

Of course, our dear principal took up a lot of time, so the other groups are in a general time constraint. The second group had to skip the video, and the third group had to skip everything altogether. The dance for the first group was too long, and the dance for the second group was too short. D:

The second group did a Haka dance to which Yoshida and I were particularly looking forward to (since Vernon and Ephraim are performing). I like to purposely say it as "Halal dance" to disturb them though. :P As you may or may not know, halal means no pork, lol. XD [It means more, but I can't be bothered to elaborate] Seriously, man, it was too short. We just have them shouting (now I can understand why Wikipedia cleared up the myth that haka dance is an exclusive war dance, they are basically warcrying like Grom Hellscream from Warcraft) and punching the floor (Vernon describes it as the 'earthquake' effect).

Okay, the punching the ground was not as impressive as Luffy when he activates Gear Second in One Piece, but I suppose it will do.

Oh, I don't know how everyone can have "Like oh my god what the fuck barbecue hack, we have [insert number. I am lazy to count.] tests this week! Oh my god! Oh my god! I got to carry a pillow and a kettle and run around in panic!!" in their blog posts, and I'm "Meh, bring it.", lol. [The pillow and kettle is from the manga Doraemon. In a particular chapter, main character Nobita took those items and run around in circles in panic due to a coming test. When Doraemon asked why those particular items, Nobita answered that there was no particular reason and that he was panicking anyway. ^_^]

Edit made on 12 March 2008:

On a side note, I seem to feel like Harima Kenji of School Rumble in Episode 8 and Ni Gakki Episode 26, reluctant to go to school. Reason why? In his case, it is because of Tsukamoto Tenma. Go figure. -.-

On another side note, yay, Vegapunk Fansubs released One Piece 303. I know I'm supposed to be bothered about studying about 'O' levels and shit, but... Nmaa, forget it. XD
