Bankai!

Edit: I know that it is quite late for this, but I only just know about it recently, so...

The next episode of One Piece, episode 326, with a new opening, comes out only... on the 14th of October... O.O

HAVING TO WAIT THREE WEEKS FOR ONE PIECE!? YOU'RE FUCKING KIDDING ME!!!

Saturday, September 29, 2007

Damn, damn, damn!

Damn, damn, damn! With three weeks of time left to 'O' level, I just could not afford to waste any more time, but still... damn! Damn! Damn! Why do I still keep insisting on procrastinating?! Argh, damn it!

Does anyone have any tips on preventing procrastination? It'd be a great help, haha!

Why do today what you can leave for tomorrow?

There's so many things for me to blog about...

I just finished watching Bleach episode 142. The ending part showing Ichigo, Chad and Ishida looks so cool, lol.

Looks like it's off to Hueco Mundo next episode!!

And yeah, I've been wondering about something for a while. You know the nearing of D-tecnoLife (the second opening of Bleach), we see Ichigo and Renji fighting for a while, then we see both people shouting, right?

I thought that I would see this during the fight between Ichigo and Renji in Soul Society, but somehow I never remember seeing this ever in the anime (other than during the opening). I finally realized where it is from.

Except they look a lot less bloody in the anime, haha. It's from the fight between Renji and Byakuya (where both their Bankais are shown for the first time). Well, for those of you who are wondering why they are shouting "To my soul!", it's after it is apparent that Renji has lost to Byakuya, when Byakuya asked Renji if he still dreams of saving Rukia. Renji answers of course he still dreams of saving Rukia, and at the moment, both Renji and Ichigo (who is currently still fighting against Zangetsu, trying to achieve Bankai) say that they swore to save her, and when Byakuya asks "To who?", Renji answers "No one." Then both of them pick up their swords and say, "I swore... TO MY SOUL!" Lol, it's cool. :)

And yeah, some other pictures from the manga I find cool, hehheh. :P

This is the chapter cover of the chapter where Ichigo and Renji teams up to prevent Aizen from killing Rukia.

Tensa Zangetsu is fast and pwnage, lol. This is where Ichigo slashes down every single attack from Byakuya's Senbonzakura Kageyoshi.

Sougyo no Kotowari and Katen Kyoukotsu, said to be the only two zanpakutous in Soul Society to exist as a pair. :P

I got back the Chemistry test paper I did eight days ago. I'm amazed that I could actually get 10 out of 50, to be honest. I didn't even take any of those questions seriously, lol. And the ten MCQs (Multiple-Choice Questions)... There were four choices (A, B, C and D), and I wrote "A" for every question, expecting to get 25% correct, but rofl, I was a bit luckier than expected, I got 40% correct! That's four marks, haha.

Ephraim, Sean Lim and I had to stay back to meet up with the History teacher at the library for a "History Source-Based Questions Consultation". o.O The teacher was late for an hour and a half, lol. The three of us got very impatient, running around the school looking for him, but I got bored after waiting for an hour and just decided to sit down and read a book (I was reading a book about Hitler, lmao). I don't blame Ephraim being unable to sit down, since particles are supposed to remain in constant motion if I'm not mistaken, but Sean as well? My, my...

Wow, the History teacher really knows his stuff, lol. I feel a lot more confident now on tackling Source-Based Questions... XD

Ah, that's it. I'm too lazy to go more in-depth. :P

Sigh...

I've just now begun to search, over the splashing waves, for the everlasting world

Comparison between manga and anime! XD

The manga one was the chapter cover from chapter 101, while the anime one was from the ending part of D-tecnoLife, the second opening (and which I used as the "banner" for my blog currently :P).

Yeah, well, I was reading Bleach chapter 116 just now. Ganju and Hanatarou have reached the... *checks name of location* Shrine of Penitence, yeah, to rescue Rukia. Ganju recognized Rukia as the Shinigami who killed his brother, Kaien, and when Byakuya came along, Ganju was reluctant to save Rukia, since he probably hates her and shit. Then Hanatarou decides to "act as a hero" (even though it's freaking obvious he can never defeat Byakuya) and went up to him, hoping to give Ganju and Rukia some time to escape. Ganju, knowing full well that Hanatarou will just get owned (not like anybody doesn't know...), charges up, flings Hanatarou aside back to where Rukia is (^_^), and silently apologizes to Kaien, stating that he should blame Kuukaku (Ganju's sister), since she brought Ganju up to not be a coward who runs awayand leaves his friend aside.

I don't get it though. He went up to fight against Byakuya to not let Hanatarou get thrashed (even though he's going to get thrashed too :P)? And coincidentally, Byakuya is Rukia's brother? Why not just go, "Okay, Rukia, you killed my brother. Now I'll kill yours!"? O.o

Makes sense to me, lol...

I'll blog about school later. :P *leaves for night study*

*returns from night study about four hours later* Okay, I'm back. Let's continue bloggin'! XD

It was raining damn heavily this morning, sigh...
Ichigo... I hate the rain. Rain falls in this world, too. When your heart is in chaos, this sky become clouded. When you are sad, rain falls so terribly easy. Can you understand... the horror of being pelted by rain in this solitary world? If only to stop that rain, I shall lend you any strength. If you trust in me, I will let no rain fall in this world. Ichigo, trust me. You are not fighting alone.
-Zangetsu, Bleach
Uh-hem. Yeah, I hate the rain too. -.- And this one was big. Huge rain, water splashing from left, right and center, winds blowing like crazy, it makes my umbrella look like a useless piece of wood.

Okay, stupid reference to Bleach, where Ichigo is supposed to fight Hollow Ichigo, wielding Zangetsu, while he himself uses a "nameless zanpakutou carried by low-level Shinigami who are unable to join the Gotei 13" (quoted from Zangetsu himself). He comments that Zangetsu has such an awesome spirit force burning off the atmosphere that it makes Ichigo's weapon look like a piece of wood. Haha.

By the time I got to school, my back was wet, and my bag was wet as well. -_- At least I managed to keep my handphone dry, phew. But damn, my bag is wet, so the Physics textbook in it... Sigh... At least the book isn't fully wet, it's only the parts of the pages near the edge that are wet, so I can still use the textbook after it becomes dry and the water evaporates, since the water didn't affect any text at all. But still, sigh......

The first period is Geography. Oh, great. *rolls eyes* The teacher gave us a practice paper for paper 1 to do. It was a preliminary paper from Pasir Ris Secondary School. And there I was thinking, "Maybe if I call Sean now I can get the answers from him?" XD Yeah, Sean studies in Pasir Ris Sec, lol, and he takes Geography as well, so I don't see any problems. :P

Other than the teacher. Oh, yeah. Right.

The rain was freaking huge, man. I took a photo outside my classroom, and holy shit! Look at the path! It's FLOODED!!

Can't see the path? I'll zoom in.

O.O

Social Studies was the next lesson. Zzzzzz... Somehow, try as I might, I could never get myself to pay attention to the lesson. So I spent that one hour trying to dry my Physics textbook... Sounds boring, right? XD According to my Physics textbook (the same one that I was trying to dry), page... *checks* 165, there are six factors affecting the rate of evaporation. (How convenient, wanting to dry the textbook, and there it is in the textbook, advice on how to dry it faster XD) And the six are, to name them, temperature, humidity, surface area, wind, pressure and nature of liquid.

Nope, I can't do nothing about the last one. The liquid is rainwater, and that's it. I can't possibly take out my wand, cast a Switching Spell and switches the rainwater into bromine, which has a smaller boiling point of 58.8°C, just to let it evaporate faster. o.O

And temperature, yeah, sure, I can just use my pyrokinesis and create fires, increasing the temperature high. But while I am sure I did state that the purpose and objectives is to dry the textbook, I don't mean to burn it.

And humidity, yeah, sure, I can just use my cyrokinesis and decrease the temperature of the room so greatly the water vapour condenses into water and then freezes into ice. Then I'll happily chuck at ice out of the classroom at unsuspecting people walking here and there (that is, if there are people out there walking here and there in the rain), and yay, no more ice, water, or water vapour in the classroom! Humidity is at downright 0%! Now, dry, my textbook!! Okay, that's even more ridiculous than pyrokinesis.

And surface area, yeah, sure. Let me just rip out the pages of my textbook one by one, then spread them all over the floor. My textbook is sure to dry in no time this way. After everything is done, I'll just put the pages back together in a pile, take out my wand, tap the pile of pages, mutter "Reparo", and whoohooo, all done. o.O

Pressure, yeah, sure, I can just decrease the amount of air particles in our classroom. That would decrease the pressure pretty nicely. o.O I'm sure I can just point my wand anywhere I like, shout, "EVANESCO!!", and poof, some air molecules disappear. Cool, huh? I just have to be careful not to aim at Ephraim. But wait, what's the difference even if I did so? O.o

Wind, that's simple. I'll just throw my textbook into a tornado. o.O

A. Maths was next, but that period got used for us to finish the remaining questions of the mock exam paper 1 that we started doing two or three days ago. The paper is so easy. Zzzzzz...

It was Chinese next. The teacher gave us four cloze passages to do, went through one of them (in which I only got four out of ten questions correct ), and yup, that's it.

And then we had to stay back to finish the remaining three questions of the mock exam paper 2 that we started doing the first eight questions yesterday. But since I've already did two out of the three questions yesterday, it was a piece of cake to me. XD

After school, Ephraim and Vernon had to do an extra English composition (since they scored well for their English preliminary papers, they were expected to do some sort of 'model' composition for us weaker students lmao), and I got them to do at McDonald's, so I can join in and help them whenever necessary, lol. Halfway there, we saw Zi Kai, and he came along too, haha.

Zi Kai joined the party!!

o.O

We went to McDonald's, and after eating our lunches (except Zi Kai, he didn't eat anything. Think he was full), we were freaked out by Vernon eating salt and sugar directly from the packets. O.O Ephraim wondered if eating a mixture of sugar and salt was really that nice, so he went and got a dish (those disposables that people use to hold curry), two packets of sugar, three packets of salt, and for some weird reason, even a packet of coffee creamer. o.O

So he started ripping those packets off and pouring the contents into the dish, while telling Vernon that since he thinks it's so nice to eat, we might as well prepare a dish for him to eat. XD I went to help lmao, and the dish was overfilled. XD I even took Vernon's straw and stir the mixture for him! Rofl!! Obviously he wouldn't eat it, lol.

Then Ephraim got an even better idea. He took the entire mixture and threw it down Vernon's cup of 80%-finished coca-cola!! XD I was like, "I might as well add chilli sauce for you too.", so I grabbed the cup, went to where the chilli sauce is, and added not only chilli sauce, but tomato ketchup as well!! XD I took the mixture and started stirring. They took a look at the red-colour and thick liquid and said, "Is this supposed to be chilli sauce?" XD

And guess what Vernon did? He threw in the bone of a chicken wing he finished eating!! And he calls it "bak kut teh" (a soup boiled with pork bones)!!! ROFL!! XD

But of course, no one would freaking dare to drink it. XD

I took a photo as well, rofl.

The strange colouring is due to the lights they use at McDonald's.

I took this photo with flash on.

Vernon and Ephraim spent quite some time on the composition, and the fact that they were getting nowhere (very slow speed of advancement) prompts Zi Kai to start doing his Chinese composition and me to start reading my Physics textbook. XD After an hour, they only did two paragraphs of so, when they decided to return to school to finish it. I went home then.

At 4.40pm, I left my house for Tampines Mart, where I'm supposed to meet Vernon for dinner before we go to school for night study. I wanted to ride my bicycle, since I'm sort of bored of slowly walking back home, lol, but freaking freaking damn!! It has to go and start raining again!! Freaking hell! Is the monsoon season coming two months earlier!?

And freaking freaking freaking damn!! The front tyre of my bicycle was deflated! Shit shit shit!! So I had to ride my father's bicycle, which is heavier and more difficult to control, since his had a suspension, which I don't really like (the extra weight makes it necessary to cycle even harder). Sigh...

So right. Holding my umbrella with one hand, controlling the difficult-to-control bicycle with the other, cycling like shit, against the heavy winds... I didn't even notice Yoshida, lol, but he noticed me and sent me this SMS. It's no wonder why he sent me that SMS. XD
"Gd job trying to go back to sch in the rain while cycling"
-Yoshida
Lol. I met with Vernon and the two of us went to the food court again, like yesterday. Strangely, again, I didn't have any appetite. Vernon bought a bowl of porridge with chicken and youtiao inside, but he didn't like the youtiao, lol... The cans of drink in the food court was expensive, so I went outside to the convenience store and bought two cans, lol. It was sold twice as cheap than the ones sold inside. o.O

We went to school, to the library, and we started studying Physics. Alvin was with us for the first hour, studying A. Maths, but he went off at 7pm, while the two of us chose to stay until 9pm.

Wow. The teacher there was great at explaining stuff. I couldn't understand what did Faraday's iron-ring experiment meant, and neither did Vernon, so I called the teacher (and had to wait thirty minutes before he finally came -_________-), and damn, he explained it in such a way that it became so easy suddenly!!

And yeah, there was this stupid question which Vernon and I got wrong. Kuan Hon came along and I asked him, forgetting that he didn't take Physics. He saw the question, got interested, but failed to solve it as well (heck, he got the same answer as us), so he went ahead, take MY textbook, VERNON'S pencil, and went to the people from 4R1 to ask them the question. I had to march all the way there to SNATCH my textbook back. -_____-

About ten minutes later, Kuan Hon got himself a Physics textbook out of nowhere and went around asking how to solve that question. The heck, he doesn't even take Physics, lol! Why get so enthusiastic? In the end, he asked the teacher, and explained the answer to us. :)

Yup, that's pretty much it. And oh, Vernon left his umbrella in my bag and forgot to take it when we left school at 9pm. We forget too much stuff. XD

First period was Physics. Today is the first day of a period when our Physics teacher would not be here due to re-training for NS, so a relief teacher came instead. He gave us practice paper 2 to do, and goes through with us one by one, until (I believe) he got bored and instead showed us a video about scientists trying to create an element by throwing protons and neutrons into a nucleus together. ...What's the atomic number of the element they want to create...? 114? 117? 118? 119? Argh, I can't freaking remember it. Anyone from 4R2 who read this, can tag on my tagboard telling me what number it is please?

Oh well, whatever the freaking number is, I would like to wish the scientists GOOD LUCK.

...They'll need it.

Next period was English, where the teacher gave us comprehension passages and questions and went through with us one by one teaching us how to answer comprehension questions, lol. Yup, I think I need those lessons. XD

Last period was E. Maths, where we are supposed to have a mock exam. Some more the teacher gives us eleven questions and ask us only to do eight. Zzzzzz... That's like putting sweets directly in front of a three-year-old kid at a place where he or she can reach and instruct, "Don't eat the sweets." *rolls eyes* We were given two hours to do those eight questions, and after one hour, I completed nine questions. -__- So I looked up at the board, where it said "Q1 - Q8" and went, "Oh, s-shit. ...Who cares?" And went on merrily doing question ten. XD

I was stopped by the teacher while halfway through question ten, lol, got caught for doing more questions than intended. :P Since we are supposed to do the three other questions a next time (or so I believe), I'm forced to stop, but ... one must finish what he or she started.

I went on to finish question ten. ^_^

Then I went and started reading the Physics textbook out of extreme boredom, lol. And I was bothering Yoshida so much (kept asking him questions about Physics in which I don't really understand) that the teacher came and told me that I can just pass up my paper and go if I don't want to check any more. ^_^" But no choice, I still gotta stay anyway, since firstly, I'm waiting for Vernon, and secondly, I can only get out of school at 12pm. ^_^"

At 11.30pm, everyone is required to pass up, regardless of whether they finished it or not (I am unable to comprehend nor understand why anyone could not finish doing the eight questions in two hours though. Fifteen minutes a question... It's insulting the level of our intelligence.). But that's still half an hour more before we can be dismissed, so we hung around the classroom, lol.

Yoshida, Vernon and I went up to the whiteboard, took markers and started doodling. XD I erased the "8" from "Q1 - Q8" and replaced it with another "8", but this one rotated 90°, so it became "Q1 - Q∞". XD Holy shit, that's ∞ questions we have to do in two hours, lmao!

2 hours = 120 minutes
120 minutes ÷ 8 questions = 15 minutes/question

You have 15 minutes on average to do each question.

But if you have ∞ questions?

120 minutes ÷ ∞ questions = 0 minutes/question

To finish the paper of ∞ questions, you have only 0 minutes to finish each question.

......Excuse me? 0 minutes? WHAT THE HELL!? XD

A paper of ∞ questions is impossible to be finished with a time limit. Heck, you can't even finish it even without a time limit. XD Wait, maybe you can, but your life expectancy becomes a time limit for you, so nevertheless, you WILL still have a time limit.

Admit it. Life is unfair. XD

Then to kill time, Yoshida, Vernon and I played two games of Big Two, until 11:55am, lol. Allow me to say, I won both games. XD Must be luck, lol.

Since Vernon and I are intending to attend the night study lesson tonight, Vernon decided to come to my house and play FFX-2 first before going to school, lol. We went to Tampines Mart and ate lunch at KFC, then we went to my house and play, yeah. The storyline bosses in FFX-2 (I'm adding "storyline" because the bosses in Via Infinito are the exact opposite ) seem to have too little HP. Vernon went and KOed Ifrit in like seven hits, before Ifrit even attacked or did anything. At least Ixion survived long enough to use Aerospark, but after gaining one hit, it dies anyway.

It's ridiculous that boss battles are this short.

At 4.55pm, we left and went to the food court in Tampines Mart for dinner. I was feeling quite full, so I merely drank a can of pepsi, while Vernon ate a plate of chicken rice.

While we were eating, there is a girl in front of me eating too, and Vernon (whose back is facing the girl) found her quite good-looking, lol, so we changed places just for him to look at the girl. XD (I don't find the girl really that good. Well, above average, yeah, but just not good enough for me to keep staring without getting bored XD)

Damn, man, the cans of pepsi being sold at the food court is EXPENSIVE. $1.20 for a 330ml can...

Price of can
= $1.20 ÷ 330ml
= $1.20 ÷ 0.33l
= $3.64/l

The minimart at Block 201 sold a huge 2 litres bottle of coca-cola for only $2.30...

Price of bottle
= $2.30 ÷ 2l
= $1.15/l

Price differences
= $3.64/l - $1.15/l
= $2.49/l

Holy shit! Every litre of coca-cola is more expensive by $2.50 (rounded off)!! We've been ripped off!! We've been scammed!! Call the police!! Summon CASE (Consumers Association of Singapore)!!

After that, we went to school.

...Then we realized I forgot to buy an exercise book back at Tampines Mart for me to do maths questions on.

We went to the book shop, it was closed. Damn. Just my luck. As we decided to go back to Tampines Mart to buy an exercise book, we walked past the notice board, Vernon took one glance at the poster on the notice board and gasped loudly.

It was this poster:

I took a look at it, wondering what could cause Vernon to gasp. The skeleton? Nah, I don't think he'd be freaked out by a mere skeleton. The tree being cut? Meh, I don't even think he gives a damn about trees being cut.

Hang on a moment, that was my thoughts back then... This skeleton, it looks like something Yoshida would draw... And the words on the right... They look awfully familiar though. Looks a lt like my handwriting...

And I understood why Vernon gasped.

WASN'T THAT WHAT WE (Yoshida, Vernon, Ephraim and I) DREW FOR A CME (Civics & Moral Education) LESSON LAST YEAR?!

Holy shit, lol! I totally forgot about it!! XD Can't find it in any of my blog entries too. Must be really old history, eh? XD

Well, I have no idea why the poster is there, I don't know how it gets there, and I certainly have no idea as to why and how it suddenly pops out after so many months either. So don't ask.

Then we went all the way back to Tampines Mart just for me to get an exercise book. The bookshop that we went to sells manga too, so I spent quite some time looking at its "collection", lol. Nope, the latest volumes of the manga I read have not come out yet. Sigh... I found one manga named "Girls Bravo". The girl at the cover looks quite good, haha. But I was believing it to be a shoujo manga, so I was like, "Ah, forget it."

But eh, Wikipedia listed it as a shounen manga. Okay, that's good enough. I suppose I'll go and watch the anime when I have time. Seems quite interesting, haha.

And according to Wikipedia...

"Girls Bravo features a young male student named Yukinari Sasaki who was teased and bullied by girls to the point that he developed an allergic reaction, breaking out in hives whenever he comes into contact with a female. One day, when he comes back from school, he falls into his bathtub and is transported to "Seiren", a mysterious world with a mostly female population."

Please freaking feel free to laugh. And loud. At least I did. XD

We went back to school, and just when we went into the library...

...Then we realized that Vernon forgot to bring the A. Maths textbook I lent him while we are still in my house.

Lmao, we've been forgetting shit the whole day. XD So I called my father to ask him to bring the textbook, lol. We waited at a bench just in the school building closest to the gate, and expecting my father to come riding my bicycle, wow, he came driving his car, lol.

We went to the library. I started doing Factors of Polynomials questions on my Ten-Years-Series, while he was reading the A. Maths textbook. He got bored soon and he took out his handphone and earphones to listen to music. I was bored too, so I asked him to share his earphones, lol. So we were listening to music on his handphone, mostly of Gundam songs. XD

Then the teachers come and started collecting our EZ-Link cards for some reason. Vernon even bothered to ask why, but very obviously, the teacher won't answer. *rolls eyes* Then the teacher saw us earphones and compared that to some Nokia advertisement (which neither of us have watched it before) about a boy and a girl sharing earphones and listening to music. -_-

The two of us sharing a table seems quite lonely, lol, luckily... *checks his name in the yearbook :P* Zi Kai from 4R5, yeah, he came to join us, lol. He's Vernon's friend, just that I don't know how they meet. o.O (they were never in the same class ever throughout secondary school, and neither were they in the same CCAs) Yay, the more the merrier, lol. Just that, as I told him as he sat down, we didn't have a third earphone for him to listen to music too. XD (earphones come in pair, you only have two ears o.O)

I finished doing the questions listed in the chapter Factors of Polynomials, so I asked Zi Kai to choose another chapter for me. He chose Relative Velocity, and the first question was about some guy trying to swim across a river forty metres wide. The river is flowing at the speed of one metre per second, while he is able to swim in still water at a speed of sixty centimetres per second, to which at this point I find the question ridiculous.

SOME GUY WHO SWIMS SLOWER THAN THE RIVER JUST FREAKING JUMPS INTO THE RIVER TRYING TO SWIM THROUGH TO GET TO THE OTHER SIDE? WHAT THE FUCK!? DOES HE HAVE A DEATH WISH!?

Who the hell swims across a river nowadays anyway? Just freaking use a bridge! I then imagine a scenario. Imagine yourself walking down Clarke Quay when you see some guy jumping down into Singapore River trying to swim across. I told them that if you ever ever have the fortune to see a guy pull that stunt, feel free to take anything (a metal can lying around, a branch, a stick or a twig that you break off a tree, heck, even your old left slipper) and throw it at the guy. -.-

I got sort of bored of listening to songs I've never heard before, lol, so I asked Vernon if we can use my handphone instead of his for music. He agreed, so we switched handphones, and I let him choose which music he wants to listen. He chose to listen to Alones (sixth opening of Bleach), lol. After Alones, I felt like listening to Hare Hare Yukai (ending of The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya), so asked if I can listen to a song before going back to the playlist and listening to Eyes On Me (which is after Alones). He agreed, asking, "Is it Hare Hare Yukai?" How did he know, lol? I'm amazed. O.O

Yeah, bub, if you're reading this, tell me, how did you know? o.O

At 9pm, we left the library. Vernon wanted to take the bus together with Zi Kai (they probably live near each other or something), but Zi Kai's parents are fetching him with a car, lol, so Vernon asked if his parents can fetch him home as well, then I went on and asked if they can fetch me home too. XD So in the end Vernon decided to take the bus home himself, and I decided to walk home myself, lmao.

Vernon and I said bye after crossing the road, and I walked home. Halfway...

...Then I realized we didn't take our EZ-Link cards back yet.

Okay, we were fucking forgetful today, rofl. I SMSed Vernon, but then I took quite some time to type the word "ez", since it wasn't in the handphone's dictionary, so I was like, "Argh, fuck it! I'll call! SMSing is such a slow way of communication!!" Then, my velocity became 0 metres per second for that time. (In other words, I'm reversing or changing direction. XD To do that, velocity has to become 0m/s before you can do that :P) I told him to meet in front of the school gate, planning to go get our cards together.

After waiting for a while at the front gate, I saw... *checks name in yearbook :P* Kuan Hon, carrying two EZ-Link cards and asking if I know where Vernon is, telling me he took Vernon's for him. I told him that Vernon is coming to where we are as I speak, then I looked at the two EZ-Link cards that he is holding, thinking that one of them might be mine. Bah, the second one was his own. -.- He didn't take my card for me, lol.

I told him to wait there for Vernon, then went inside the school, and I found the teacher walking down the stairs, holding my card, lol. I took my card back, and when I left, I saw Vernon and Kuan Hon, lol. It's lucky I managed to remember it, Vernon totally forgot, lol, and he was about to board the bus before I called. XD

So we crossed the road a second time and I told him, "Bye... for the second time." XD

The moon sure looks pretty tonight, ya?

Holy shit!

Holy shit, man... I've just watched One Piece episode 325, and the fight between Ace and Blackbeard is so pwnage, lol! That's why I still continue to watch anime despite having read manga beforehand, haha, just for the battles. Battles are ten times better in the anime than in the manga... *nods*

The Devil Fruit that Blackbeard ate, Darkness Darkness Fruit, it gives the power to create a black hole and to suck everything into it, right? Damn, that reminded me of a vacuum cleaner, lmao. Who needs vacuum cleaners when you can just eat the blasted Devil Fruit and suck up all the dust? XD

Just don't go and expel the dust you absorbed.

Sigh, one more month

Sigh, there's one more month left to 'O' levels... Guess that this month will be so-far the hardest month ever in my life. Not once have I ever decided to devote one entire month into studying and revisions, neither would I ever have the determination to maintain that, but this time, I suppose it is going to be different.

'O' levels... I guess I can say that this will be the first time in everyone's life that will drastically shape and affect the road he or she takes for an entire life, and you can't suppose I kick back and relax about it, like what I have been doing so far?

Nah. It's time for some serious devotion of studying... Maybe with an hour or two of spending time at the computer, my sanity depends on it (a cookie to whoever spots the reference).

Well, I suppose as a rough gage that I would be spending:
  • 24% of the time on Geography
  • 24% of the time on Physics
  • 19% of the time on History
  • 19% of the time on Social Studies
  • 6% of the time on English
  • 6% of the time on Chinese
  • 1% of the time on E. Maths
  • 1% of the time on A. Maths
  • 0% of the time on Chemistry
That's just a very rough gage of course, seems I doubt I would be ensuring very much that I stick to it devotedly ("I'm spending 1% of my time too much on Physics! Argh!!" *rolls eyes*), and I'm too lazy to write up a timetable or a study plan or any of those childish shit (not that I will stick to it anyway, I find myself concentrating better when I'm free). So, oh well.

Today in school, we got back our graduation certificates. Yay, lol...

And yeah, Yoshida and mine table went missing. Sigh... Having to spend school without a table, I was thinking, "Hoshi-tachi yo nagusamete kure yo? T_T"

Translation: Oh stars high above, won't you come down and comfort me? T_T

In the end, we went and get a dirty table at the storage where tons of tables and chairs are dumped there.

And yeah, before Chinese lesson, Yoshida and I found a magnet (the same magnet that Samuel was playing darts with last time), and lol, out of boredom, I magnetized my scissors by following the example on the Physics textbook by stroking the scissors with the magnet, lol, and holy shit, Yoshida's staples stuck onto my scissors!

Can't see the staples? Don't worry, I'll highlight it.

My scissors isn't really that strong as a magnet, because according to the textbook, steel needs quite some time to magnetize, and I was lazy, lol, so I only stroked it a few times. :P Here's another photo of the staples attached onto the scissors. XD

Yup, that's it. Nothing much to blog about school. I guess I'll spend thirty minutes reading some Bleach manga (I went and restart reading from the beginning, so at least I can differentiate between true manga material and those disgusting fillers XD), then go and read my Geography textbook.

And yeah, I gotta admit, while reading my Geography textbook, I sidetracked (told ya I have a short attention span :P), and started thinking about Bleach and One Piece. Then, I remembered something...

You know how the Soul Society arc in Bleach and the Enies Lobby arc in One Piece are named after locations where one of the main character's companions (Rukia in Bleach and Robin in One Piece) are taken, lots of manpower are placed there in defense, led by a number of extremely strong people whom must be taken down in order to rescue the companion, and often, the main character and his companions charge into the place and often fight the strong people (CP9 in One Piece and the thirteen Captains of the Gotei 13 in Bleach) to rescue the companion?

Thinking here, I must admit, I bet Ichigo (who leads the attack against Soul Society in Bleach) must be jealous of Luffy (who leads the attack against Enies Lobby in One Piece)... Why? Read on.

In One Piece, Luffy takes down a majority of the huge amounts of Marines and soldiers on the island, while the rest are taken down by the Straw Hat's allies (Franky Family, Galley-La Company, just to name a few). Next, Luffy and his companions (a.k.a. the Straw Hat Pirates) then fight against the strong enemy leaders (a.k.a. the CP9). Each group has eight members, and other than Luffy (who defeated two) and Usopp/Sogeking (who got his kill stolen by Luffy), each of the six other Straw Hats defeated a CP9 member each.

Ichigo, on the other hand, isn't that lucky. His companions, to be blunt, could hardly do anything to help, when compared to the Straw Hats. Let's do a deep analysis here.

Ichigo's team begins with seven members, so his team gets outnumbered easily from the start (there are thirteen captains). So it's obvious that his team needs to put in more effort (like maybe have one person take down two Captains? O.o) in order to rescue Rukia. But sigh, Ichigo's team is so weak (only Ishida and Yoruichi defeated a Captain each), the author seems to pity him so much that we seem to have people switching sides, and even going to the extent of "creating a new team" in the middle of the battle just to make sure Ichigo can win. It's lucky that this is a war, since all's fair in love and war, which is what others said by the way, but can you imagine people switching sides during, for example, a soccer game? Ooooh, the chaos.

Now, let's list down the members of each team at the start of the battle, colour-coded by which team they begin in (I'll count Hanatarou as initially beginning in Ichigo's team, since his rank is so low I wouldn't bother to count him in Soul Society's team. :P Also, I'll consider Renji too, despite him not being a Captain, but at least he DOES know Bankai, and becomes a protagonist later, so I suppose he's important):

Ichigo's team:
  • Kurosaki Ichigo
  • Ishida Uryuu
  • Sado "Chad" Yasutora
  • Inoue Orihime
  • Shiba Ganju
  • Yamada Hanatarou
  • Shihouin Yoruichi
Soul Society:
  • Yamamoto-Genryuusai Shigekuni
  • Soifon
  • Ichimaru Gin
  • Unohana Retsu
  • Aizen Sousuke
  • Kuchiki Byakuya
  • Komamura Sajin
  • Kyouraku Shunsui
  • Tousen Kaname
  • Hitsugaya Toushirou
  • Zaraki Kenpachi
  • Kurotsuchi Mayuri
  • Ukitake Juushirou
  • Abarai Renji
Then, let's list down what happened to each of the fighters... I'll colour-code whether that person gets victory or defeat. I'll assume that the person who didn't fight gets defeated (since he or she automatically becomes a N.U.B., or Non-Useful Body. :P I'll also assume that whoever went ahead and defeat anyone from the team who he or she starts out with gets defeated, since he's literally betraying his team. Oh, and those who stayed loyal and fought, but didn't get defeated, gets a victory ^_^).
  • Ichigo - Puts in the most effort, lmao. Fought with and defeated Renji, Zaraki and Byakuya.
  • Uryuu - Fought with and defeated Kurotsuchi.
  • Chad - Fought with and gets defeated by Kyouraku.
  • Orihime - Did she even fight? -_-
  • Ganju - Fought with and gets defeated by Byakuya.
  • Hanatarou - Didn't fight, but at least it's thanks to his healing Ichigo can defeat three people at one go, lol...
  • Yoruichi - Fought with and defeated Soifon.
  • Yamamoto - Stayed loyal to Soul Society. Fought with Ukitake and Kyouraku.
  • Soifon - Stayed loyal to Soul Society. Fought with and gets defeated by Yoruichi.
  • Gin - Betrayed Soul Society and went to join the Arrancars. Fought with Hitsugaya.
  • Unohana - Didn't even fight.
  • Aizen - Betrayed Soul Society and went to create a new team ("the Arrancars"). Fought with and defeated Hitsugaya and Komamura.
  • Byakuya - Stayed loyal to Soul Society. Managed to defeat Ganju and Renji but ended up defeated by Ichigo.
  • Komamura - Stayed loyal to Soul Society. Owned by Aizen. -_-
  • Kyouraku - Stayed loyal to Soul Society initially and defeated Chad. Later betrayed Soul Society and fought with Yamamoto.
  • Tousen - Stayed loyal to Soul Society initially and gets owned by Zaraki (very humourously, I might add). Later betrayed Soul Society and joined the Arrancars.
  • Hitsugaya - Stayed loyal to Soul Society. Fought with Ichimaru, and fought with and got defeated by Aizen.
  • Zaraki - Stayed loyal to Soul Society initially just for the sake of fighting strong opponents, and fought with and got defeated by Ichigo. Later betrayed Soul Society, joined Ichigo, fought with and defeated Tousen.
  • Kurotsuchi - Stayed loyal to Soul Society and gets defeated by Uryuu.
  • Ukitake - Betrayed Soul Society and fought Yamamoto.
  • Renji - Stayed loyal to Soul Society initially and gets defeated by Ichigo. Later betrayed Soul Society, joined Ichigo, fought with and gets defeated by Byakuya.
The huge amount of words in red in Soul Society's side seems to denote something...

And this are the teams at the end of the fight, colour-coded by which team they belong with initially:

Ichigo's team:
  • Kurosaki Ichigo
  • Ishida Uryuu
  • Sado "Chad" Yasutora
  • Inoue Orihime
  • Shiba Ganju
  • Yamada Hanatarou
  • Shihouin Yoruichi
  • Kyouraku Shunsui
  • Zaraki Kenpachi
  • Ukitake Juushirou
  • Abarai Renji
Soul Society:
  • Yamamoto-Genryuusai Shigekuni
  • Soifon
  • Unohana Retsu
  • Kuchiki Byakuya
  • Komamura Sajin
  • Hitsugaya Toushirou
  • Kurotsuchi Mayuri
Arrancars:
  • Ichimaru Gin
  • Aizen Sousuke
  • Tousen Kaname
And before you realize it, it becomes a 11 vs 7 vs 3 battle! This time it's Soul Society getting outnumbered!! Just look at how Ichigo's team increased in size throughout the battle, and how Soul Society's decreased! Damn, it really seemed as if Ichigo's team could have never saved Rukia if all of Soul Society's people stayed loyal! Man, I bet Ichigo's pissed off, lol. ("Damn, I can't even save Rukia without enemies pitying me and coming to my side and helping me... T_____T") And yeah, not to forget his jealousy of Luffy if he knows about Enies Lobby ("Damn! That bastard could save his companion without any enemy's help!!). :P

Sigh, is there any way of studying and revising other than reading textbooks? -_______- If anyone knows, tell me please. T______T

I'll end today's blog post with this:

Mid-Autumn Festival

My mother went out at night for some reason today, so my father and I had to go out for dinner. Not that I'm complaining. I rather walk to coffee shop one hour's walk away than stay home for dinner. All thanks to my mother's... um... inferior Cooking Level. Yeah, it's a reference to RuneScape. I'm addicted to that game.

We went to the coffee shop at Block 802. I ate the standard oyster omelette, yum. I'm addicted to that dish already, haha. But my father, being a cheapskate, doesn't want me to order the eight dollars one, so I had to make do with the five dollars one. He is lying that he is doing so because the dish is too oily, bad for my health, though I can easily tell his real purpose, the dish is too expensive, bad for his financial health. *rolls eyes*

I noticed that the table we are sitting on is numbered 46. Reminds me of the Central 46 Chambers in Bleach... 40 wise men, 6 judges. All owned brutally by Aizen. Sigh, they really got pwned pretty badly, I can't not sigh...

So after having a plate of $5 oyster omelette (not enough chilli!) and ten sticks of satay, we left. On the way, we saw two kids playing with candles, making me wonder, "Why play candles now?" And, surprising how I need to take so long to think of an answer, to tell the truth, I realized it, today is Mid-Autumn Festival.

Ah, the Mid-Autumn Festival, where people barbecue outside the moon, putting pomelo rinds on another's head, carrying lanterns and eating mooncakes. How can I forget? Some call it Mid-Autumn Festival, while others call it the Lantern Festival. Food-lovers, finding themselves unable to eat lanterns, instead call it Mooncake Festival, while lazy people hoping for a shorter name merely call it Moon Festival.

For me, I like to call it the Burning Festival. Ah, the burning, never forget it. Some get bored with lighting candles to put inside lanterns, and gradually kids started to light candles and put them in a row. Others, more daring, brave and adventurous, got even more bored and decided to burn dried leaves found nearby. As other kids see them burning, their innocent curiosity prompts them to join, and sooner or later, you see tens of kids running around the park, combing for dried leaves and twigs to add into the huge pile of flaming goodness.

Some, however, were even more bored. After all, dried leaves is difficult to burn initially. And thus prompts advancement. Airplanes are invented because people want to fly. The Internet is invented because people want to transmit information around the world quick. This, is technological advancement. Whenever people find that their lifestyles lack something, they would often try their best to get over the limitation. The steam engine comes into place because people need an easy way to obtain energy. Cars and trains now dot the landscape because people want an easy way to travel.

Likewise, do not underestimate kids. Their urge to burn is strong, their curiosity to witness a swallowing fire is intense. They want to burn. But definitely not leaves! You can't start a strong fire with leaves!! And so prompts the technological advance. Do not underestimate the intelligence of children, my friend. They can be as clever, and perhaps, pardon me for suggesting this, even more cleverer than you. What they need is something easier to burn.

And the answer comes in a clever word: Flyers.

Ah, flyers. Those useless pieces of crap and junk frequently found along void decks, especially outside letterboxes. Most people chuck them away without even taking a good look at them. Gradually, the number of flyers accumulate. They act as litter, they dirty the environment, and they infest our homes much quicker than cockroaches and mice, at such an astounding speed that not even cleaners can match them! What should we do about them?

And the answer comes with an ingenious stroke of mind: Burn them.

Phew, freaking hell... Such a long chunk of crap just to get a point through. ^_^"

So yeah, my so-called Burning Festival. Others tell me the names sound awkward though, so I, having learnt that word from my current English teacher (who is, with little competition, the best English teacher I had so far), decided to use it, renaming the Festival to... *drums roll* Feed My Pyromania Festival.

Ah, Pyromania. I wonder why I didn't get to learn of that name earlier. In case you didn't know or notice, I renamed my blog's title "Pyromania" as well, haha. So, what the heck does that word mean, for those of you sleeping in English lessons?

Random Blog Reader: Hey! Who the hell sleeps during English lessons? You'll have to do an essay as punishment if the teacher catches you, man!

Good point. Let me summon my evidence.

Samy [I can't protect anything...] says:
Wow, I was reading up on Dumbledore in Wikipedia:
Samy [I can't protect anything...] says:
His house affiliation is that of Gryffindor. This information was given to Harry Potter by Hermione Granger in Philosopher's Stone on the Hogwarts Express. Furthermore, in the film version, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, Dumbledore tells Harry that he set a curtain on fire in the Gryffindor dormitory.
Samy [I can't protect anything...] says:
Damn, I want to set a curtain on fire in our class too :D

So, Feed My Pyromania Festival. FMPF. Sounds cool, doesn't it? ;)

On the way home, I realized where my mother went. There was a celebration held at the park near my house to celebrate FMPF, and I decided to get my father to drop me off there. How can I forget that today is FMPF? Having a Thieving Level of 82 in RuneScape is useful, not only for accessing the shortcut to get to Chaos Druids in Yanille Agility Dungeon, but also to pickpocket your father's lighter. XD

I found my mother, sitting there and watching the performance. Pfft, that does not interest me. I went around, scrolling through the parks, looking interestedly at what the kids are doing. Most of them are just burning candles and arranging them in a row. Boring. After a long time, about thirty minutes, in which I tried to join in one, but turns out they are already extinguishing the fire before I joined in (A big -______-" there), I almost wanted to give up, but finally, I found a lonely boy at a corner, playing with candles. I asked if I can join in. He said yes.

Apparently, the candles that he was playing with are a gift from his friend, though I wonder why a pile of leaves, half-burnt, is in front of him. I asked if he's interested in burning those leaves. He agrees and we started using the fire from the candle to burn the leaves. Of course, that's no go. Leaves are difficult to burn with a small fire. After spending quite a long while being persistent, we gave up and decided to head to the void deck, looking for flyers which we can find.

Bingo! I lifted up the cover of the dustbin, and to our amazement, there were a whole chunk of flyers and cardboard boxes used to hold candles and sparks! Not forgetting a paper lantern... Jackpot, baby! There was even a paper bag inside, obtained from a mooncake shop! We took the paper bag and threw whatever we can salvage inside it, before running back to where we met just now, this time determined to make a bigger, stronger, huger fire.

A picture represents a thousand words.

And a thousand words
One thousand confessions
Will cradle you
Making all of the pain you feel seem far away
They'll hold you forever

I only took that one photo, because I only took it after I deem the fire huge enough and satisfactory.

Of course, while the two of us had a ton of fun burning, two other people joined in. One of them is even equipped with a lighter! Whoohooo, now we have four people with two lighters. Mwahahaha. We continued burning, and after a while, the guy with the lighter got bored. He took another lighter from his friend somewhere else, and threw both lighters into the pile.

AND BOOM! HOLY SWEET SHIT! It was too sudden, too fast, so my slow reaction didn't allow me to take a photo, but it reminds me of an atomic bomb. It's like a huge fireball from the center erupts and flies upwards, then exploding into a million tiny sparks. Beautiful, man, simply beautiful. I took a few pictures of the fire after the lighter incident, which burnt brighter and bigger than ever.

Unfortunately, all good things have to come to an end. We ran out of the papers, and just as we were about to go get more, an adult, thinking that we are crazy and insane kids bent on burning down the entire park (*rolls eyes*) and attempts to stop us. So we had sort of a "polite talk", me tossing whatever he threw at me back at him. Yeah, "polite" is the keyword all right. I was trying to hide my meaning of "Fuck off, you bastard, just know that we'll do our best to make sure we don't burn this park. Take my word and leave. Although I can't guarantee that my hand won't slip and that I won't accidentally burn you to death." inside my words. Wonders if he got it?

So, yeah, we let the fire die out, then I went to step on the ashes, some parts looking as though it is still flaring. I ended it by stomping on it with my shoes. Only then did I realize that those shoes were newly-bought. XD

Seriously, man, I hate it when adults interfere. Do they really think we are really that fucking stupid? A teenager, even taller than him, unable to stop a fire? Man, the fire can't spread, the floor is made of ceramic tiles (or at least I believe so), and we chose a location that is at least three arms' length away from any grass or tree, so what's the freaking problem? God damn it, stop thinking we children and teenagers are retarded. -.-

That guy whom I burned stuff with, he had to go, so we said goodbyes and he went home. Man, he seems like quite a nice guy, lol. Glad to hang out with him, even though it's only for a little while. Ah, I went to find my mother, but I got bored fairly quickly, so I went to look for my neighbours, whom came with my mother. I found them burning candles with another guy and I went to join them, lol. Burning candles might be a bit boring compared to burning flyers, leaves and stuff, but it beats having nothing to do.

And so, after that, I found a leaf nearby, and wanted to burn it. But damn, leaves are resistant, they don't burn that easily, especially this one I found, it wasn't particularly a dried one. But I realized that I could blacken it by burning it, lol, and so I tried to burn almost every spot of the leave I can (obviously I'm not going to burn the part of the leave in which my fingers are holding on to -.-).

I nicknamed the leaf "charcoal leaf". :)

So the three of us went back to our mothers, and after a while of watching the performance, I got bored and decided to ask if my two neighbours want to go and take a stroll or something, when I noticed that their chairs were already empty hours ago. -_____- Well, not literally "hours ago". So I decided to go off, looking for them.

I can't find them, meh, but instead found a group of three people burning stuff just beside the pile of ashes in which me and that guy burnt stuff just now. XD I took a half-burnt piece of flyer from the pile of ashes and joined in. A kid asks, "Who are you?" And I replied, "Hi, I'm joining in." They went all, "Yay! We got someone joining in! Four people, let's go!" XD

And then some freaking bangla comes with a huge-ass fire extinguisher. Oi! Oi! Someone tell me I'm hallucinating or something!! Why would people whom I could not see (don't forget it's nighttime) carrying huge-ass fire extinguishers around and messing around with us?! We heard him pull the safety pin (don't freaking expect us to actually see him pull it please -__-), and fearing for our safeties, we jumped back a metre or so, drew our swords, went into combat position,

and boom! Out of nowhere, a forceful jet of water shot out, spraying the ashes of the stuff we were burning a metre of so.

(I apologize for the fact that you can almost see nothing from the picture, lol)

"That was our blood and sweat, you fiend!" roared my partner, his voice full of anger as he grabbed his weapon even tighter, a longsword with a sharp prick at the end. "And you will pay! Now die for the pitiful sins that you have just committed!"

"Stop it!" shouted his friend beside him, concerned for his safety, but it was too late, as his outstretched hand could reach nothing. Blinded by rage, he rushed forward towards his enemy with hatred. Rushing towards an enemy whom he could not see. Rushing towards death. "STOP!"

"If he's going, then I'd be going too!" declares the ally closest to me, a short boy with a high-pitch voice, carrying a pickaxe that looks like a toy. "For my father!"

Random Blog Reader 2: Hey! Who shouts "For my father!" when he charges towards battle?
Random Blog Reader 3: Hmmm, let's see... Prince Arthas from Warcraft III before he went over to the Undead?
Random Blog Reader 4: And that Prince Rasler from Final Fantasy XII? I remember him shouting that at the beginning of the game before he got shot by an arrow.
Random Blog Reader 5: Is it a coincidence that both of them are princes?
Random Blog Reader 6: Well, here's the conclusion. Unless your father is a king, you would be unlikely to roar "For my father!" as a warcry. Agree?
Random Blog Reader: Aye.
Random Blog Reader 2: Yeah.
Random Blog Reader 3: Sure.
Random Blog Reader 4: Of course.
Random Blog Reader 5: Why not?
Samy: Hey, since when are there so many people reading my blog? ^_^"
Random Blog Reader 2: So is the pickaxe-holding kid a prince or something?
Samy: Um... Maybe. Certainly. Probably. ^_^"

Well, heck, it would be good if we actually dared to attack, lmao. Of course that was fictional. No way are we foolish enough to strike an enemy we couldn't see. No one can win a battle with accuracy at 0%.

Looking for something to do, I found a group of kids playing Ice&Water, and oh what the heck, I was feeling bored anyway, so I asked if I can join, rofl. There were about four other boys and about ten girls, and so after some discussion, the five of us guys became the ice while the girls became the water. It was an outright victory. The girls kept cheating by running off even when they are frozen. Not like we particular mind, we could catch them back with ease, haha.

But still, I feel bad chasing after a girl about five years younger than me... -_________-

And the event soon ended, and I left for home with my two neighbours and their mothers. They were carrying lanterns home proudly, lol, and halfway I was joking of burning down their paper lanterns, holding, my lighter threateningly. :P When we reached the basketball court, we saw a paper lantern there, and for fun, I decided to burn it. :P

We then went home, and I return the lighter I stole from my father beside his box of cigarette, where there is already a lighter on it. Damn, how many spare lighters did he have? ^_^"
