RuneScape Halloween Event

Yay, it's a Saturday! Time to read manga! ^_^ *goes off to read Bleach chapter 297 and One Piece chapter 476*

Heh, good to see that Rukia and Chad aren't completely dead yet. Can't tell what happens next though. :X

Whoohooo, Zaraki Kenpachi to Ichigo's rescue! Go, Captain! XD

For a while though, I was expecting Hollow Ichigo to come out, hehheh. :3

Lmao, thrusting some random shadow into Luffy. Sounds lame, though way to go, Rolling Pirates. =.=

Wow, and I thought one was lame, they went ahead and stuffed a hundred of them into Luffy. Way to go, Luffy. It's just so sad you only have one head, two hands and two legs to perform so many different styles of skills and techniques. Maybe you should get Zoro to teach you how to do Asura Ichibugin? XD

Lol, the Straw Hats are being owned by Oz, but at least we get a sensible explanation on how Oz can stretch. ^_^"

Ah, it seems as if Franky is really down for the count. He's not SUUUUUUUPEEEEEEEEER this week. T_T

Brook: "I'm getting such a shock you can see my bones! ...although I was only bones to start with!!" Haha! XD Finally one of Brook's skeleton jokes that's funny to me. :P

Wow, that's a really nice combo between Brook, Usopp, Robin and Nami. Usopp sends Brook flying towards Oz with that stupid catapult thingy Usopp used to send Franky last time, while Robin grabs Brook and made him spin. Then Nami zaps him, increasing his velocity and attack power, and finally, Brook makes a thrusting stab at Oz's shoulder. ^_^

Argh, seems as if Brook's down for the count too. :(

Lmao, I like how Usopp's becoming such a coward after Oz declares his attack on him and attempted a Gomu Gomu no Bazooka. XD Robin's clever though, stopping Oz from stretching by grabbing Moria. ^_^

And yeah, I paid a little visit to RuneScape's Halloween event.

I've taken a total of twenty-six (26) screenshots, lmao.

First, we start by approaching a Dark Portal, the entrance of the Grim Reaper, south of Falador.

Yay, we make it to the entrance in one piece. Should we be happy? o.O Wait, we make it in... one piece? Life is "Adventurous"! Be aware it's "Dangerous"! Who's gonna be "One of us"? And a trip goes on because, We da pirate of the "Mass"! To the West, To the East! Gonna find my way, Sail away, All the way to "One Piece"!!

Just like the Grim Reaper to call us "mortals", ya? ^_^"

And so, we are sent all across his house, doing odd-jobs, just because his last servant died (we read in his diary that he actually wanted to pat his servant for a job well done, but his touch of death ended up killing him. How ironic, rofl XD) and his new servant can't come (for reasons we still have not completely understood yet o.O) unless we help him out and do some shit.

His hall looks a bit empty, but damn, must be tiring to light up all of the torches everyday, with so many torches just in the freaking hall alone. XD

Wow, it sure is comforting to know that we are being watched after, ya? ^_^" I'd like to quote from my History textbook, in the Chapter of Hitler and Germany: "As you can see, the Nazi state exercised a lot of control over the lives of Germans. It was a good place to live if you were a healthy person who the Nazis had classified as Aryan, and if you were happy to obey rules. People like this often found that their standard of living rose under the Nazis; they also found being 'looked after' comforting." Yup, being 'looked after' is comforting. :P

The Grim Reaper has kept a pet, a skeletal dog, in his hall, named Muncher. XD You can interact with Muncher and are given three choices on what to do: Stroke him, entertain him, and blow a raspberry. Stroking him does nothing, entertaining him does nothing either (but you're treated to your character dancing the infamous RuneScape dance XD). If you blow a raspberry at him though...

He hits you an amount of damage equivalent to your maximum HP. That's a one-hit KO. XD

Don't worry though, you respawn at the entrance of the house without any loss in items. ^_^

So, our first task is to be sent to his garden (technically a freaking maze though, with all of the spider webs), and to retrieve his previous servant's skull. Guess the Grim Reaper doesn't want his new servant to see the skull and get a wrong impression, ya? ^_^

The maze is annoying. It's only one-way, and all of the spiders' webs are put there to distract you, when you can only push through one of them available to you. I'd say that this is a bit too troublesome, and I have a more convenient way.

Bankai! Tensa Zangetsu! GETSUGA TENSHOU!!

*cuts spider webs all in one slash* ^_^

Here's a screenshot taken from right in the middle of the maze, with a noob following behind me. -.-

Skull was easy to find. To be honest, I was lazy and decided to follow others. :P

With the skull, I exited the garden, and damn, it appears as if the Grim Reaper almost wrote my name on the Death Note...! -.- Lol, he just took the skull away magically, and the player gets scared to half-death. -.-

The first page of Death's diary. ^_^ He specifically instructed not to let anyone else know its content, or I'd die. :P

Gotta admit, Grim Reaper has a nice dining room.

And a nice parlour as well. ^_^

Hmmm, a scythe sharpener, huh? Maybe I should buy one of these and give it to Yoshida for his birthday present... XD

Wow, that's a nice little blue fire. Wonder how he does it? Light his fireplace with "Way of Destruction, number 33! Blue Fire, Crash Down!"? o.O If I do that, I'd just end up destroying my entire fireplace. -.-

And wow, he sure has a lot of spare robes for us to burn, huh? If each player burns one set of robes, and if there are about 5.4 million active players (here's the source), HOLY SHIT! 5.4 million sets of robes burnt!! WHOOHOOO! LET'S HAVE A BONFIRE!! XD

So our next task is to explore his dining room and parlour, take whatever items we can find, and arrange them and put them in the correct locations as stated in the diary.

Welcome to the second floor of the Grim Reaper's house. :D (or for you British people who uses the ground floor thingy, the first floor of the Grim Reaper's house -.-) I'm surprised at this first room we come across at this floor, the hall. Every where we are surrounded by torches. O_O

And so, we have to go through an "agility course", twice. Yay.

First is the slide. Wheeeeee!

Damn, and to think we only get to play this slide through this Halloween event once in a lifetime... :( Maybe Jagex should allow us to build our own slides in our house? That'd be fun!! :D

And next, the spring boards, which you use to jump across a dark, empty and black abyss. o.O

I just realize I look like an idiot in this screenshot. -.-

Jump!! :D

Oops! I think I'm going to jump a bit further than I expected!!

And we landed in this pool of... eww! What's this? Slime?! O________O ...and we had to swim across it.

And we ended up in a rocky places with pitfalls all over them. I purposely went and try felling down one. :P

Pity I didn't manage to take the shot of the character's hands wildly up in the air as he plunges down. D:

Finally, we are done! :D So, Grim Reaper, what's our reward? :D

Lol, "goal-driven attitude"... XD

Hmm, what should I do with the hood? My bank space is full.

After claiming your reward, the Grim Reaper kills you (XD What an ungrateful brat XD), and you respawn outside his house, near the portal, without any loss in items.

And you can't return to his house any more. :( I'm glad I took as many screenshots as I wanted. XD

Whooo, the new Zombie Hand emoticon. Basically, the hand of a zombie pops out of nowhere, you dodges it, and it claws the ground. I doubt there isn't a video on YouTube on this, so if you are interested, check out YouTube and see if they have videos on this.
