As usual, woke up at 5.30am. Just before I woke up, I had a really, really weird dream. There's a lot of crap that I can't even remember now that I think about it, then at the end, which is the only part I can still remember (hey, it's been eleven hours since I woke up! XD), I received a SMS from Vernon. Well, that's not rare, but the weird part is the content.
If I was awake, I could at once tell that Vernon will never, never send me this SMS. It just very simply clashes with his personality.
Well, the SMS was a simple one. He just talks on and on about stuff he's doing, the movies he watched whiles ago, how he felt about them, stuff like that. That's where the loopholes start.
1. I doubt Vernon will ever talk about and/or elaborate on things he'd done to his friends. He just isn't that outgoing.
2. In the dream, what he wrote was rather cheerful and generally positive. The Vernon in real life would do the opposite. Examples like "sucks la", "sian like wad", "shit", "cheapo", "z", "waste the pro's time", "dots", and of course, not forgetting his signature "-.-", come into my mind. :P Generally, full of negative shit.
3. He just isn't THAT cheerful and outgoing!!
Well, no offense lah, bub, but still, you're special lah. I know you're just acting this way because you want someone *cough* Tania
*cough* to come, be your Rinoa and "open you up" as if you're Squall. And what's even weirder is that at the end, he tells me that Jasmine needs help in her Social Studies. The dream me (夢の俺は yume no ore wa XD) interpreted it as Vernon hinting me to help her, lol, for obvious reasons. :P
But,
1. I already give "the battle" up. Why did I still dream of this? Hmmm, maybe... somewhere, deep inside me, I'm just refusing to give it up, no matter what. Screw you, the somewhere deep inside me.
2. Why Social Studies? If it's A. Maths (not only suits me, but Jasmine as well
), I'd still maybe not find it as weird. I suck in Social Studies, and I know it. 
But at least I have my shitty Social Studies teacher to blame for it... Okay, I'll like to add this. Dreams are nonsense and dreams are bullshit. Don't even take it seriously, lol. -.- Especially you, Jasmine, if you're reading this...! XD
Hmmm, and to finally wrap this shit up and be able to move on to blogging about work, I'd end this by saying that it was as if I refused to get up, lol. However, listening to music sure helps a lot. One, it gives you a chance to lie in bed for more time. Two, if you tell yourself that you will wake up when the music ends, there is a very high chance of you doing so (at least it applies for me XD), and won't sleep on infinitely. Three, you can't fall asleep, since you have music blasting loud into your ears. Four, the music can sort of makes you alert, lol.
Hmmm, guess I should add that I was listening to Hare Hare Yukai - Kyon's version. :P I don't usually listen to this song during the period when the bitter struggle between the sleeping devil and the consciousness spirit ensues (:P), as I usually listen to songs that would make you more alert, like D-tecnoLife (Bleach's second opening) or Blaze (Tsubasa Chronicle's first opening), to name a few from my playlist. Hmm, who knows, lol?

Where was I?
When I opened my door to leave, HOLY FUCKING SHIT! THE WHOLE CORRIDOR IS A PIECE OF BLACK! Lol. There isn't any freaking lightning, and the only source of light comes from the road lights for the PIE (Pan-Island Expressway) just next to my block. It was freaking scary, I must admit, having to walk through a corridor of complete darkness, 6am in the morning. XD I think it's a blackout or something, but weird, we have lights inside houses... When I got to the elevators, holy shit, the elevators aren't working either. -.- So I have to use the staircases and walk down eight floors, in complete darkness. =.= To make shit worse, I can't even tell which floor I am on as I walk, lol. Halfway, it shocks me, as there was suddenly light shining onto me, coming from a lift. Heck. -.-

Oh, did I mention that I was freaked out by that stupid darkness? =.= Let there be light!!
Anyway, it's not like I have photokinesis and can create light at will. Sure, I have pyrokinesis and can create light at will anyway (indirectly, that is), but I'm sure I don't want to burn the flat down. ^_^"
I reached Tampines MRT Station at 6.09am, a little bit earlier than when Hong Wei and I would usually agree to meet up, so I stood at my usual spot, at the windows of Guardian, the pharmacy shop just located in Tampines MRT, and waited for Hong Wei. Hmm, there was quite a cute girl across me, at the board in the center of the MRT station where the map is, waiting for someone as well. :P She was wearing what appears from a distance to be JC clothes, so I suppose she's older than me, though she looks to be shorter. Lol, funny how the mind wanders when one gets bored. :P
Oh, I'd like to add that she was wearing a ponytail.
Hong Wei came at around 6.20am, and Andy at 6.30am. The bus at five minutes later after Andy arrived, and we boarded it. Damn, I could tell that it was awfully cold inside there already, with the windows full of water droplets... If anyone of you actually paid attention during Science class instead of sleeping (which I know I have a tendency of doing
), you'd know that the water droplets are formed on the windows through condensation, which requires the windows to be colder than the room temperature. And seeing that the freaking windows are all choked with water droplets... well, nmaa, I can predict it's a freezer inside.On board the bus, I even took a photo of the windows with all of the water droplets. XD
That damned work... it's never-fucking-ending! I cleared one box and another box comes. I cleared that box too and then two more boxes come! After that it's three more! And five more! Oh my fucking God!! It pisses me off, how it just keeps on coming and coming in fucking waves!!
And thus, it took me five days to get sian of work. When I asked, Andy told me it only took him one day to get sian. o.O Whoa, and I thought I suck at persevering. :P
Let me think of a scenario from a fight in RPGs (Role Playing Games) to illustrate an example of my never ending work. I'll be using the CTB Battle System from Final Fantasy X, since after all, FFX is the only RPG I've been playing for quite some time (excluding MMORPGs). XD
You are fighting against a boss. Here are the boss's stats:

Techniques - Description - Priority
- Haste - Costs 75MP , doubles speed, can be accumulated - 40
- Curaga - Costs 50MP, heals 9999HP - 10 (90 if HP is less than 20%)
- Regeneration - Costs 100MP, doubles maximum HP, has no effect on current HP - 40 (90 if HP is more than 90%)
- Drain - Costs 2MP, reduces 50% of targeted opponent's HP and add that amount to MP - 10 (90 if MP is less than 20%)
- Charge - Recovers 5000MP - 0 (100 if MP is less than 10%)
Warrior

Speed - 150
- Normal attack - Deals 5000 damage
- Technique - Power Strike - Costs 20MP, deals 8000 damage.

- Overdrive - Ultima - Deals 9999 damage to all enemies

- Normal attack - Deals 4000 damage
- Technique - Corrosive Arrow - Costs 30MP, deals 5000 damage to an enemy
- Technique - Explosive Arrow - Costs 40MP, deals 3000 damage to all enemies
- Overdrive - Rain of Arrows - Hits thirty times, each hitting 1000 damage, to all enemies
HP - 3000
MP - 700
Speed - 200
- Normal attack - Deals 3000 damage
- Technique - Steal - Steals from enemy. There's nothing from this boss for you to steal anyway -.-
- Technique - Quick Hit - Costs 50MP, deals 3000 damage. Next turn arrives faster
- Overdrive - Blood Pain - Hits twenty times, each hitting 1500 damage, to an enemy
As you can see, it is practically impossible to defeat the boss, even though the boss lacks techniques and attacks that can damage the characters, other than Drain, which only takes 50% of the character's current HP. This means that to kill a character, about fourteen Drains need to be used. With that low priority Drain has, I'm sure you can heal before the boss use another Drain? So, what do we call the boss? 砍也砍不死？ (You can't kill it no matter how much you slash it?)
Its Speed is already 255, which means that it is approximately doubled to your characters, meaning that the boss gets to go approximately two turns for every characters' turns (which would be three, since you can only have three of them fighting at once). Once it uses Haste, it means that it would double to approximately five times, making the ratio of turns 5:3. Another Haste would make it 10:3. In other words, it will just keep casting Regeneration and Curaga, continuously increasing both its current HP and maximum HP.
Since Regeneration has a high Priority of 90 when its HP is 80% of more, this means that it will use Regeneration whenever it has very little HP left to Curaga. This effectively ensures that the boss will not waste his turn using Curaga even when its HP is already full. It also ensures that the boss will keep trying to increase both its current HP and maximum HP.
And with Drain and Charge, running out of MP is NOT a problem. Take note that especially since Charge does not cost any MP at all, so it can even use Charge with 0MP left.
At first I didn't want to include Drain, as it's just a freaking guy who won't die no matter how much you slash at it. But I figured that the characters would naturally get tired, but normal attacks do not cost any MP, so I added a Drain, as to signify that the endless amount of work can literally drain your energy.
I had fun creating the characters' techniques though. :P
Awww, it's so sad, but Hong Wei was taken away from Andy's line and forced to join another line. D: Now the three of us end up in different lines. D: Though according to Andy, it is temporary, and Hong Wei should be back in his line in no time, haha.
Andy treats us to sushi during breakfast, yay! :D The three of us all had two pieces of roti prata each for breakfast, haha. Each piece costs sixty cents, so us combined costs $3.60, but Andy ended up paying $2, me 50 cents and Hong Wei $1.10. XD Well, I paid the least because I treated everyone to drinks. :P
Lol, during lunch, both Hong Wei and I ate and drank the same thing: Prawn noodles and coca-cola. Andy accuses us of being gays. -.- *punches Andy* :P Hey, I've been having the same thing for lunch for days now. XD
Remember that Andy bought Jay Chou's latest album yesterday? He sent me three of the songs he likes using Bluetooth. Whoever invents Bluetooth is a freaking genius. He pays $18.90 to buy the music, I just wait for one day and get it for free. XD
He sends me 牛仔很忙 (Cowboy On The Run), 彩虹 (Rainbow) and 蒲公英的約定 (Dandelion's Promise). I rather like 牛仔很忙's tune. Sounds rather cowboy-cowboy, haha. I like 彩虹's tune as well. Rather peaceful-peaceful sort. Makes you just want to fall asleep while listening to it, especially since I'm so tired due to damn work (well, what the fuck, I even work on Sundays
). I listened to it on the bus after work, and I almost fell asleep. Why am I commenting on the tune? Because as usual, I can't hear the lyrics... -____- I can't listen to the lyrics for almost every Jay Chou's songs. Fuck "almost", I don't understand them for every of his songs. It's like listening to a song of a foreign language. =.=
Well, I heard, from 牛仔很忙, something like "我虽然是个牛仔 在酒吧只点牛奶 为什么不喝啤酒 因为啤酒伤身体 (Although I'm a cowboy, I only order milk at bars. Why don't I drink beer? Because beer harms health)", and it's rather funny, haha. XD
Well, Hong Wei's taking a leave tomorrow. He's going to pay respect to his deceased ancestors. Why tomorrow though, who knows? Oh well, looks like it's just Andy and me tomorrow. Hmmm, the two of us have never been together without Hong Wei, lol. Wonder how tomorrow is...
Whoa. I went to the bus interchange to board a bus home. I joined the short queue, where I'm like the forth in line, and started listening to D-tecnoLife. When I finished listening, I looked around, and holy shit! There are two rows of people now behind me! In such a short time! Man, the bus service to my home sure is popular. ^_^"
I took a seat, and damn, an old Malay woman came and slowed down near my seat. :S I was thinking, "Please, don't sit next to me, don't sit next to me..." XD She slowed down and stopped, starting to hesitate. I started to think even more furiously, "Don't sit next to me... Don't sit next to me." After about five seconds when I started cold sweating, she sat at the seat in front of mine. -.- Phew, what a relief. :P
Twenty seconds later, another old woman came and sit beside me. -____________- Major bummer.
Thankfully, about a minute later, when the bus got crowded, another old woman boarded the bus, and using that excuse, I quickly stood up and offered my seat. XD
So I ended up standing in the bus, just next to the exit. =.= My left arm was resting on the EZ-Link cardreader. Ah, was nice. XD There was a cute girl also standing in the bus, haha. :P She looks innocently cute, lol, and had a hairstyle similar to Jasmine's, except that Jasmine has two "strands" of hair at each side, and that Jasmine's ponytail is much longer than hers, which is very short, haha. :P I'm bored, I know. ;P
Oh, and guess what? My mother went to the casino with my father yesterday (thus explaining very naturally why I didn't have dinner last night. I was home alone and lazy to cook =.=). Guess what? She went ahead, threw seventy bucks into those damned slot machines and this is what she showed me today after work.
28 cents left. 28 cents. And guess why I ripped that damn paper into two? Because I know that the $70 she wasted is my money. MY MONEY!
I should probably first bother to explain first. Before I started work, my mother somehow extorted, threatened, blackmailed and begged (a combination of various methods which somehow works, despite how it all just rojak like that) me to give her 50% of the money I earnt.
I call that the "laobu tax". (laobu = mother. Some Chinese dialect lah) Wah seh, Singapore income tax 20% only leh! Some more I here paying 50%? What the hell!
Back on-topic, so my laobu just wastes seventy freaking bucks... Okay, wait, sorry, excuse me, let me make some damn corrections. So... my laobu wasted... sixty-nine bucks and seventy-two cents. How many hours must I fucking work for that amount of money? Let me see... I earn five dollars per hour... That's... *calculates* What's 70 divided by 5?
Oh, wait, sorry. 69.72 divided by 5. Thirteen hours, fifty-six minutes, thirty-eight seconds and four deciseconds. And she used it up in approximately (because I'm bored with the deciseconds, centiseconds and milliseconds) an hour.
