Everything seems distorted to me

I was just looking at the lyrics of Voice, the first opening of Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters, looking for something to use as a blog title, when this sentence caught my eye, so I used it. :)

Hmmm, let's see. Blog about today...

Since today is a Sunday, the company we work at doesn't provide transportation to the factory, so we have to get there ourselves. I was initially planning to ride my bicycle early in the morning to where SAFRA is, which is the entrance point of Tampines Industrial Park, meet up with Hong Wei then, then go together to the factory (I was reliant on Hong Wei for that, since I don't know where exactly the factory is in the huge industrial park, nor do I know how to get there ^_^").

Though, my mother's worried about me (should I say that I am touched? Or should I feel insulted that I can't defend myself?), so she didn't want me riding my bicycle early in the morning (she might as well don't want me to work early in the morning as well. Save me the trouble. Oh, and while she's at it, she can prevent me from studying in the morning too. The more the merrier, right? Sarcasm, sarcasm... :P). Thus, a change of plan results, and my father takes a break from work (he works in the night shift, by the way) and brings me there instead. Oh well.

We went to the road next to SAFRA and waited there for Hong Wei, since neither of us were able to enter by ourselves and not get lost. XD Hong Wei came about five minutes later and we ended up arriving in the factory early by five minutes.

With quite an amount of time in our possession, we decided to walk around outside the factory. Well, blimey and holy shit! There's a small farm next to the factory! Blasphemy! Agriculture in Tampines! Won't believe it unless I see it with me own two eyes!! O_O

Hehheh, I'm seriously not exaggerating at all, haha. I could never even think of there being agricultural activities carried out in Tampines at all in a million years, haha.

Such a rare sight, of course it can't be missed! XD I took a photo of it, ta-dah! As you can see, it's quite a small farm, lol. By the way, Hong Wei was the one who spot it, lol. I doubt I can notice its presence all by myself. :P

And behind the factory is where a road run, with a lot of cars passing by. We approached it and, after examining a sign, realized that the road is none other than PIE, lol! I wanted to take a photo of it with Hong Wei in it, but that shy bugger is so alert, he noticed and quickly dodged. Not fast enough against the almighty speed of my camera shutter of course, since I managed to take the photo with him inside after all. XP Note that the blurry effect was not on purpose, it was because Hong Wei was trying to run out of the range of the camera. :P

Who knows whose water bottle he is swinging in the picture, lmao? XD Both of us were carrying our water bottles at that time (since we had the intention of refilling them with the water cooler available inside the factory), and they were identical (since we bought them together during the morning of our first day at work at Cheers, the convenience shop at Tampines MRT Station. I'd like to add that it was a ripoff and a scam. Two bucks for a freaking bottle of mineral water? O_O I'd rather just have fucking tap water, thank you very much. -.-), lol, and I had him hold my water bottle (since I need to use two hands to take a photo).

After that it's work, work, work. It's so boring that I don't want to blog about it, and neither would you want to read about it. Give me a break, and give yourself a break as well.

During work, Andy learnt that Jay Chou has released his latest album, On The Run, and wanted to buy it. Hey, Andy, it's been sixteen days since that album was released! Have you been hibernating inside a hollow tree or something? :P

Although I didn't know that piece of information myself as well until Hong Wei told both of us.

However, he isn't familiar with Tampines, as he's from Hougang, so he asked us where he could buy CDs in Tampines. We told him that he could probably get the CD in Tampines Mall, but since he's unfamiliar with this town and all, the two of us decided to accompany him to Tampines Mall. In addition, he told us that he also needs to return his friend's IC card. I asked him why he was holding onto his friend's IC card, and he told me that his friend forgot to take it during a game of pool. I replied, "I see.", and he repeated "I see." with a tone that sounds funny, lol. Maybe he's thinking that I was making a pun, since "I see" and "IC" sound similar. XD

My father, who initially plans to bring me home after work (since the end of my work happens to coincide with the end of his work. In other words, both our works end at approximately the same time), comes and fetch me, but I told him to bring the three of us to Tampines Mall instead.

He asked for twenty bucks as transportation fee. I told everyone, "Forget it. Let's walk to Tampines Mall ourselves!" (It isn't that far of a walk anyway :P) Hong Wei asks me, "真的假的? (Are you serious?)" XD Of course I'm kidding! XD

Well, so is my father too, as the three of us got onto the car. Since I wanted to sit with my friends and not my father (:P), I went into the back instead of the front which I usually sit at. My father insists on someone sitting in front for some reason, and since this is Andy's first time meeting my father, I highly doubt it that he would volunteer to sit in front, lol. And for that, sensible and mature Hong Wei (:P) chose to sit in front, since he knew that if he don't, Andy would be forced to sit in front, and probably would feel embarrassed about it, rofl.

During the ride, my father, again, started his long-winded speech trying to get me to enter JC (he's fighting a losing battle.). I can almost predicted that every time he meets my friends, since he would first ask one of my friends whether he wants to go JC or Poly. If he replies JC, he'll persuade me to go to JC with him. If he replies Poly, he'll go on spewing one whole list of rubbish about how bad Poly is.

Now you get why I don't want to sit in front. ^_^"

Hong Wei though, I pity him... :P

We arrived at Tampines Mall, where both Andy and I are sniffing loudly. Well, I was doing that since I was feeling cold and thus suffering from the effects of a runny nose (hey, the air-con in the factory is just too cold for my immunity system, and me, having an innate resistance of fire, automatically has weak resistance against coldness -.-). I thought Andy was feeling cold as well, but turns out that, after four days of not touching any cigarettes, he's suffering from withdrawal symptoms.

Wait, what the fuck!? Andy, you fucking smoke!? O_______O

H4X! He doesn't even look like a smoker, lol...

Well, not like I could care anyway. Not like I don't have friends who don't smoke *cough* Peter and Yujun *cough*, neither do I hate having friends who smoke *cough* Hong Wei *cough*.

I recounted to Andy, while laughing out loud as I told him the story, about how Hong Wei told me angrily that he didn't like people who smoke, not knowing that Yujun was right behind him, on that day we went to East Coast Park with Yuchi. XD That was hilarious, lol, and I can still laugh out loud to this day thinking about it, especially when it happened ten months ago. Yujun's timing on appearance was perfect. XD

Let me quote from by blog in case you are wondering what the heck I am talking about. o.O
After returning, we spent a lot of time arguing over what we want to do next. I wanted to continue cycling, while Hong Wei bullshits about being tired and going home. Yuchi just walks to a nearby bench and sits down there. During our argument, Hong Wei unfortunately mentioned that he does not like being with friends who smoke, and very unfortunately, Yujun, whose father brought him here by car, enters the conversation, overhearing everything.
Andy was being pretty self-conscious, lol. He started bugging Hong Wei, asking if he really hates smokers. Hong Wei claims that he said that because he wanted to go home, and that he doesn't really hate smokers. Hey, Hong Wei, let me quote Tidus from Final Fantasy X and tell you: "Nice excuse!"

Oh, and Andy, when he noticed that I was sniffing loudly together with him (mine is due to coldness though, nothing to do with cigarettes -.-), he almost thought that I was a smoker who happens to be in the same shoes as him as well. XD

We went to the McDonald's at Tampines Bus Interchange and saw his friend there. Hmm, his friend looks fierce and sturdy, lol. I think that, from appearances solely, he should be a capable fighter. The only thing about him is his height. Since Andy, Hong Wei and I can averagely be considered as tall (which gives me the right to mock Ephraim of his pathetic height :P), his friend thus looks short, especially when he is seen together with us, lol. Of course, he isn't as short as Ephraim (then again, find someone who's shorter than Ephraim and I'll call you a God. ). I'd say his height should be in the middle range. He just looks short since he stands beside Andy most of the time when we were together. :P

If he looks taller, I think he can intimidate about ninety percent of people he meet. :S He really looks strong, lol, no kidding.

Oh, and I find it amazing myself how I managed to snide in remarks of Ephraim's short height over and over again, even despite the fact that we are no longer classmates nor even schoolmates... XD

The two of them started smoking after a short break, and wanting to avoid second-hand smoke, Hong Wei and I went quite a distance away from them, waiting for them to finish. I chose to wait outside, under the Sun, haha, since I was feeling cold. :P After quite a while, during which I was chatting with Hong Wei asking him of his opinions of Andy now he found out that the guy smokes (didn't get much out of him, lol), Andy, along with his friend, came and told us, "Sorry for the wait!" We then went on forward towards Tampines Mart.

Edit: Spot the mistake in the above paragraph. ^_^"

Yes, we went on forward towards Tampines Mall, not Mart. A typo error. ^_^"

:P

...Except that with Andy and his friend (who both of them seem to have little to zero familiarity with the Tampines central region) leading, the four of us went the wrong way for a minute or so before Hong Wei and I could be bothered to correct them. XD

We went to Popular (taking the escalators instead of the elevators, since the two people leading probably have no idea where the hell the elevators are. XD Come to think of it, the elevators in Tampines Mall sure are well hidden, aren't they?), where Andy and his friend went to the CDs section, while Hong Wei and I went to the manga section. I told Hong Wei, "And we would be working here if they called us a day earlier." XD (Remember that while looking for jobs, Hong Wei and I tried our lucks at Popular? They called me on the day... *checks handphone's log* before we start work, after obtaining our current jobs, asking whether I was still interested in it, lol. Obviously I rejected them, since I already had obtained a job...)

Hong Wei was looking for Air Gear manga, while I was looking for Tsubasa: RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE (yay, I think I can now type the phrase with the correct forms of the letters, whether capital or otherwise, by myself and not referring to Wikipedia :P). Yay, the Chinese version of Tsubasa: RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE volume 16! I bought it, of course. No way am I going to spend three more bucks buying the English version of Tsubasa: RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE volume 16. -.- I mean, come on, this is fucked up, man! The same manga, in different languages, but the Chinese version costs $5.50, while the English version costs $8.50? O_O

I think that by doing so, the manga publishers are discriminating non-Chinese races. It makes me want to support them by buying more of their manga.

Andy got his CD, and showed to us the album cover. Holy shit, I couldn't even recognize that the person on the cover was Jay Chou at first glance! O_O And what's with that pink shirt? What are you, gay?

After that, the four of us went down to McDonald's for lunch. I ate McChicken, Hong Wei ate Filet-O-Fish, while Andy and his friend both ate Chicken McNuggets, all of us eating upsized student meals. XD Andy thought that the medium fries that came with his upsized student meal was large, lol. I wondered if he only comes to McDonald's once in a blue moon or something like that. XD

While eating, Andy and his friend started chatting about stuff Hong Wei and I would never even dream of touching on, lol, like watching porn and drinking beer. I am alright with drinking beer, but...

Andy and his friend combined both of their French fries into a large pool and shared with each other, though Andy was quite full later on, with still a large pool of fries left, so Andy offered it to us, wanting us to help him finish it. Guess he's with me in the "Let's Not Waste Food Or Else Sanji Will Come And Kick Our Asses" campaign. ^_^ Hong Wei didn't, but I sure helped myself. XD He also couldn't finish his coca-cola too, so he gave me all of the coke he had left, which is about half of the cup. Not that I mind, I always drink one and a half cups of coke when I ate at McDonald's with someone *cough* Vernon *cough*. :P

With nothing to do together next, Hong Wei and I decided to go home, while the two of them need to meet up with another friend at Tampines Bus Interchange, so we left for it together.

...but the two of them went the wrong way. ^_^"

While the two of them were leading, and Hong Wei and I lagged behind, I asked Hong Wei of his opinions on Andy, now that we know that Andy not only smokes, but drinks as well. He told me that he realized that on the first day we started work, when Andy asked him whether he smoke or drink. Bugger, and he didn't tell me about it. -____-

That's all about it today, I think. Now for miscellaneous stuff. :P

Apparently, I got bored while burning logs in RuneScape. :P

By the way, my action was in no particular way directed towards anyone, though I hope there could be someone for me to direct it at. ^_^"

Screw the noob for standing there and ruining it. =.=

It was in Falador Park by the way. :)

A MSN conversation with Vernon:

:D?

That was done in four minutes using Microsoft Paint by the way. ^_^

Well, I never blog about it or anything much (though I did hint about it during my blog posts), but I play Neopets, lol. :D Well, used to, I've decided to quit, since my work is taking up the majority of my time, and I want to use my free time to channel my energies into RuneScape, hopefully able to obtain Level 99 Firemaking soon. :)

So I went to my Neopets Guild and announced my leave. One of the replies from my Guildmates really touched me, lol. Her name is Amy, and here is her reply. I even preserved the font size and colour she used for her. :P Notice that even our names are similar, haha. XD

Samy -

You're not joking are you?

Samy, I know it might seem stupid considering I've only known you for a coupe of months but you made me teary!
Oh...
*huggles**huggles**huggles*
I'm going to miss you so much but be assured that you are NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER EVER be taken off my "luffs" list even if you have quit!
You do realize that you are luffed beyond imagination right?
And that I am going to miss you to the end of the world right?
And that I actually do understand why you're quitting and that I'm not meaning to sound so ignorant to your needs right?

I mean, I understand that you've had enough but I can't help sounding ignorant because I luff you so much and I'm going to miss you to infinity and beyond.

Oh Samy, I will always remember you for your shifty eyes and your great, shining personality.

Goodbye Samy...
