Fuuton: Rasengan!

风遁・螺旋丸!!
Fuuton: Rasengan!!
Wind Release: Spiraling Sphere!!

Went to the gym at Vernon's condominium for some strength training today, haha.

Was supposed to meet at 4pm, but since I had nothing much to do at home, combined with the fact that my father offered to drive me there, I went early, and reached at 3.30pm. On the way, I saw a bus with a rather cool advertisement, so I took a photo. What attracted me was the special graphics effect, not the police chasing the thief. -.-

Then again, this advertisement would do exactly the opposite of what it wants to achieve (i.e. encourage people to join the police force). My first thought: "So if we become a police, we have to run around streets chasing thieves under the hot sun, when all my friends get sit in their offices, enjoy the air-con and earn a living easily? Damn it!"

Anyway, before I keep blabbering and blabbering and forget about it, the photo of that stupid bus. Credits to the red lights for causing both the bus and my father's car to stop so I can take a proper photo of it.

I didn't know why, but along the way, my father's car drove past a signboard that says "Meridian Junior College", and he points at the sign. I mean, for fuck's sake, the results are already out, and I am already posted into Temasek Polytechnic, so what is the fucking point? Besides, I've already put MJC as my eleventh choice after all, so you can't blame or accuse me for not giving it a try, can you?

Stupid security guard outside Vernon's condo... I kept telling him, "Second one, second one.", but yet that bastard totally catch no ball. *rolls eyes* So I have to waste one minute of my time, one minute of my father's time, one minute of Vernon's time and one minute worth of phone bills just to call Vernon to ask him which block he lives in. -____-

So I spent half an hour watching Vernon play Fiesta. XD His turn at the computer ends officially at 4pm, before his brother takes over, so he's making sure that he is not wasting a single minute of his computer time. Lol. Can't believe he's already Level 59 as well. Since he's my good friend though, I'll praise his determination and hardworking attitude, instead of accusing him of being addicted to computer games and having no lives.

We left at 4pm, when his brother took over the computer. The gym at his house was really small. Much, much more small that I was initially expecting, to tell the truth. XD And I don't know why, but I went with the intention of training my arm strength, and came out feeling that I have trained my leg strength much more than my arm. -.- No choice what. Starting train my arm, then feel tired so I train my leg while waiting for my arm to recover. Train train train, then feel like my arm recover, so go back train arm. For a while only tired again, so went back train leg and wait again. Train train train. And the procedure repeats.

We left and went back to Vernon's home after an hour of training. Oh well, training my leg strength is fine too. I hope to one day be able to kick as hard as Syaoran (or Clone Syaoran. Both of them underwent the same training by Seishirou anyway, so they should be able to kick equally hard, haha). ^_^

As his brother had occupied the control of the computer, Vernon instead wanted to play his PlayStation 2. He initially wanted to play Soul Calibur III, but I wanted to have a look at his Final Fantasy X progress, so we played that instead. He's stuck in Via Purifico, controlling Yuna and unable to find both Auron and the exit, so I helped him out in that, following the red arrow of the map. Man, his characters are sure overpowered. He was doing Overkill 90% of the time. XD

My help went a bit overshot, and I proceeded to help Vernon get pass the underwater side of Via Purifico as well. That boss (Evrae Altana was its name, I went to bother to check a Final Fantasy X walkthrough) was really easy with Vernon's characters, haha, since he overtrained them. Reached Seymour Natus, and the two of us left for dinner. We went to Elias Mall for dinner, and after that, went to White Sands to play arcade. I'll elaborate later on, but first, let's have a map. ^_^

We started from the lower-left hand corner of the map by the way (I don't know why, but apparently, Vernon's condo is just a plain of grassland. o.O

We travel along the red route as indicated on the map to Elias Mall. Nothing much eventful happened along the way as we chatted while we walked. Oh well, I did encounter a tree in the shape of a slingshot. Vernon said he knew that I would stop to take a photo. XD

Continuing on, we reached Elias Mall, and went to McDonald's for dinner. One, I hope that those idiots working at McDonald's can stop asking me to freaking display my stupid Ez-Link card every single freaking time I want to buy a student meal. I mean, come on, you are just working there, hoping to earn a living, right? What's the point of having you seeing my stupid Ez-Link card? -.- Besides, do I not freaking look like a student? Or are you trying to imply that I am a gangster who got expelled out of school after being caught associated with a bunch of gangsters? -.- Lame.

Two, STOP FREAKING ASKING ME FOR MY CHOICE OF DRINKS!! SERIOUSLY!! HOW MANY FUCKING TIMES DO YOU WANT ME TO REPEAT "COKE! COKE! COKE!" IN YOUR STUPID, GOD DAMNED FACE?! I'M ALRIGHT WITH SHOWING THAT STUPID CARD OF MINE, BUT THIS IS RIDICULOUS ENOUGH!! WHERE HAVE THE TIMES GONE WHEN YOU IDIOTS WOULD AUTOMATICALLY GIVE ME MY FAVORITE COCA-COLA WITHOUT PROMPT?! YOU PEOPLE ARE FREAKING PISSING ME OFF, DAMMIT! Like tch, are they expecting me to reply, "Oh, I'll have Carlsberg Beer, please."? -.-

Stayed in McDonald's for quite a long time, chatting with Vernon about stuff, haha. We then decided to move on to White Sands for arcade, but it was raining outside already. As we tried to proceed, Vernon's spirits were dampened by the rain (and you can see that we were constantly taking detours in the route to take shelter and avoid the rain, now depicted by the blue line after dinner), so when we reached Block 601, Vernon wanted to go home.

Calling home... his family members were all lazy to pick him up and deliver him his umbrella. XD I also called my father to check whether he can pick me up or not... he's overseas gambling, that gambling addict. -.- So, coincidentally, both our fathers are overseas. Even more coincidentally, both of them are in Indonesia. But whereas Vernon's father work as a manager in a hotel in Indonesia, mine is a customer in a certain gambling ship located in the seas of Indonesia, being the God of Wealth there (he gives money to the dealers aboard the ship, so isn't he being the God of Wealth?). -.-

Well, what freaking choice did we have left but to move on and continue forward? Onwards, my warriors! For honour!!

As you can figure out from the map, we were taking a lot of detours just to seek shelter from the rain along the void decks. We were relying on Vernon's familiarity with this place, haha, or else we would have gotten lost. XD But then again, whoever the heck gets lost in small little Singapore is pathetic. XD

But then again, maybe Ephraim would. Since he's so, so, so much smaller than Singapore.

Along the way, I saw some scenery I figured would make a great photo, so I took it. Argh, damn, you can't see the raindrops very well, because I thought that it was due to the raindrops that makes it look rather artistic, haha.

And we cross the bridge! Had to walk in the rain, since the bridge wasn't sheltered, but heck, the rain is very small anyway (we just didn't want to get wet and fall sick later on), something we can handle. Though, I was dilly-dallying and taking a photo. XD

Sometimes I wish that Vernon would just freaking stop and wait for me while I take a photo. -.- Instead, he just carries on walking like nothing happens. XD

While walking along some void deck, we saw this, and I was like, "What the fuck?" XD

Well, it didn't really surprise Vernon, since he lives near here after all. Besides, he told me that his primary school used to hold obstacle courses for events here, so I bet he's been here quite a few times before already. For me though, it was a pleasant surprise, haha, since I've never seen one like this doing in the residential area after all. Wonder what it is for, haha.

Lol, during our walk, I noticed someone who looked rather familiar, but I just couldn't recognize her, as I wasn't wearing my spectacles, and she was rather far off. Then I noticed her smiling at me and thought, "Hmmm... She knows me. Maybe I DO know her after all." So I waved back, haha, and took me a while to realize, oh, that's my supervisor at work. XD Vernon asked me, "Which one?" Well, obviously it's the nice one, not the demon one.

If the demon one smiles at you, it would definitely not be a pleasant and nice one, but a frightening and creepy smile that surges through your very bones, suggesting that it wants to eat you up alive force you to do sub (but then again, those two doesn't seem to have that big of a difference). A very evil one, indeed.

Yup! Exactly like that!

Besides, if it were the demon one, do I look like I would wave back? Nope. I thought about it, and I figured out that there would be two things I could do if it were the demon one indeed.
  • The best defense is a good offense. Strike at the enemy before it can attack you first. That way, you prevent yourself from getting hurt. Now, where's my sword?
  • Those who run away live to fight another day. Live and let live!
We saw an interesting clock tower with a weather vane on top of it, and I told Vernon to go stand over there and pose for me while I took a photo. XD Instead, he told me to go and pose instead while he take a photo, so whatever. Took this photo while teaching him how to use auto-focus. XD

And here's the photo with me! :D

Saw this banner at the entrance of Elias Park Primary School, which is also the primary school where Vernon, Faizal and Cynthia (according to Vernon, anyway XD) used to study in, haha. I was particularly interested in the contents of the banner, so I took a few steps back to take a photo of it, while Vernon continued to study it with curiosity. XD

In other words, it just tells kids not to shoplift, not to be a gangster, not to smoke (which they fucking shouldn't *rolls eyes*), not to take drugs (only idiots would though, to be honest) and drink, not to watch pornography (I have no idea why the kid in that banner is looking so aggressively already when the woman in the computer has only shown her back -.-), and not to, umm, you know, sensitive stuff? (Vernon sounds rather impressed that the kids in the banner are already thinking of going to a hotel with such a young age. I mean, hey, come on, that girl is still wearing pigtails. PIGTAILS! To be honest, only girls who are at most eight years old wearing pigtails are considered cute. Nine and above, and we consider you disgusting. XP)

Rest of the walk was pretty eventless. We finally reached White Sands at long last, and proceeded to the fourth floor and prepared for some pwnage against God damned zombies... :P Vernon didn't bring any money, so I ended up blanjah him. Next time you blanjah me back hor, bub. XP

I threw twenty dollars in, and well, the guy there pointed me to a sign that says, "Play $12, and get to buy a Disney plush for $6". Vernon, seeing the word "plush", immediately tell me, "Don't want! Don't want!" Me, on the other hand though, saw the "for $6", thought, "What, I still have to pay?", and said, "No thanks." The guy asked, "Sure don't want?", so while waiting for him, I continued reading the sign. Below the above message says another message, "Play $20 and get the Disney plush free!" Wah! Free ah? Got free things who don't want take? Take lah! XD

Vernon quickly backed off, telling me, "我不认识你! (I don't know you!)" XD I was told to sign, so whatever. I just anyhow sign one "KIRA desu". XD Obtaining a Winnie the Pooh plush for free, I told Vernon to hold his card while I stuff it into my bag. He thought I wanted him to help me hold the plushie and quickly backed off further. XD

A photo of that plush toy taken back at home. Say hi to my stuff.

We both played one round of Initial D racing each first for some warm-up. We were just randomly selecting options, being unable to read Japanese well. XD In the end, we ended up racing against computer opponents, lol. -.- I lost by a distance of around a hundred metres, but bub was worse; he lost by a distance of four hundred metres. XD

Back to the main game of the day: House of the Dead 4. :D Yay, this time we played even better. SUUUUPEEEEER, so as to say. :D

We made it past the third boss with the chainsaw, The Empress, and this time managed to make it the furthest the two of us ever did, all the way to the fourth boss, Temperance, haha! XD We got crushed by that rolling fatass and got pwned though. D: Reminded me again of how invincible Alvin is. XD

With $2.10 left, we went to play basketball in the arcade, lol. $1.05 for each game, so we played two games. Reminds me of what Jay said in the movie Kungfu Dunk (which is incidentally about basketball), "Basketball isn't a game of individual skill; it's about teamwork." XD Though, we failed to achieve 150 points needed to enter Stage 3 both times, so we're still stuck at Stage 2... for now. XD

Cool, there's a book shop beside the arcade which sells manga... and some of the manga in the shelves are unwrapped! We can just go there and read manga for free! Whoohooo! :D I read the first chapter of MÄR, and it seems rather good. I'll read that manga when I have time, haha. XD I also took Naruto and showed Vernon the clash of Rasengan and Chidori during the Sasuke Retrieval arc (which to this day still remains as my favorite arc XD), and also took Bleach to find out the Chinese translation of the sentence "滅却師の誇りに懸けて,僕はお前を殺す! (Kuinshii no hokori ni kakete, ore wa temae wo korosu!; On the pride of the Quincy, I will kill you!)". Turns out it is "赌上我灭却师的信念,我要…除掉你。", though that sounds more like "Betting on my faith of the Quincy, I will... get rid of you." to me. o.O

After that, we went home, with me taking the MRT home while he took a bus.

Back at Tampines, I was walking from the MRT Station to the Bus Interchange when I walked past a Total Defence display. The only thing which interested me was the combat vehicle there, so I took a photo of it.

Sigh... My handphone button broke. D:

I guess I drop it way too many times accidentally, but damn, it's been only a month since I had this handphone! Oh God... I still have eleven months to go before my contract expires (this phone is bought with my father's )! Argh! Shit!! Is there a solution? Can I buy any new keypads or something? If anyone of you know, please let me know! Thank you!!

Side note: Damn, I need to wipe my fingerprints off my handphone screen again. -.-

Sexy, sexy Robin-chwan.

Yay! Ash finally catches Chimchar, which used to belong to Paul! Whoohooo! Finally, a Fire-type Pokémon on Ash's party! :D

And oh, just why the hell is Dawn's Piplup hanging around with Ash and his Pikachu and Turtwig? -.-

Sure reminds you of the good old times back when Ash has captured all three of Kanto's starters in Kanto [Bulbasaur, Charmander and Squirtle. Can't find a screenshot :(], and all three of Johto's starters in Johto (Chikorita, Cyndaquil and Totodile), doesn't it? ^_^

Now, instead, Dawn takes away Piplup, and leaves Ash no choice but to use a Buizel for a Water-type. -.-

In Ruwan's blog:
Ruwan: a katana is a sword u dumbass...
Yujun: wait i thought a katana is a brand of beer?

Yujun delivers pwnage.
