Here Comes The Preliminaries!! IV

I chose to use this entire day to study my History, since my actual schedule is like this: Study History yesterday in preparation for the exam tomorrow, studying Physics today in preparation for the exam two days later, and study Social Studies tomorrow for the exam two days later. But I screwed up, I played too much yesterday and only managed to finish reading three chapters out of ten of my History textbook yesterday, so today, I have both History and Physics to study. Better cut time playing and rush.

But of course, I MUST take an hour off for gaming and blogging. Life would be meaningless if I do no shit but study whole day like a freaking nerd, now would it? ;)

Reading Chapter 4 of my History textbook, on Hitler and Germany, it got me thinking. I think I would be a supporter of the Nazis if I were a German living in Germany before World War II, lol. I don't know why, but I just seem to like his policies. Here, I'll share with you a part from Hitler's Mein Kampf (My Struggle):

"The People's State ought to allow much more time for physical training in the school. It is nonsense to burden young brains with a load of material of which, as experience shows, they retain only a small part, and mostly not the essentials, but only the secondary and useless portion; because the young mind is incapable of sifting the right kind of learning out of all the stuff that is pumped into it. To-day, even in the curriculum of the high schools, only two short hours in the week are reserved for gymnastics; and worse still, it is left to the pupils to decide whether or not they want to take part. This shows a grave disproportion between this branch of education and purely intellectual instruction. Not a single day should be allowed to pass in which the young pupil does not have one hour of physical training in the morning and one in the evening; and every kind of sport and gymnastics should be included. There is one kind of sport which should be specially encouraged, although many people who call themselves völkisch consider it brutal and vulgar, and that is boxing. It is incredible how many false notions prevail among the 'cultivated' classes. The fact that the young man learns how to fence and then spends his time in duels is considered quite natural and respectable. But boxing – that is brutal. Why? There is no other sport which equals this in developing the militant spirit, none that demands such a power of rapid decision or which gives the body the flexibility of good steel. It is no more vulgar when two young people settle their differences with their fists than with sharp-pointed pieces of steel. One who is attacked and defends himself with his fists surely does not act less manly than one who runs off and yells for the assistance of a policeman. But, above all, a healthy youth has to learn to endure hard knocks. This principle may appear savage to our contemporary champions who fight only with the weapons of the intellect. But it is not the purpose of the People's State to educate a colony of æsthetic pacifists and physical degenerates. This State does not consider that the human ideal is to be found in the honourable philistine or the maidenly spinster, but in a dareful personification of manly force and in women capable of bringing men into the world."

Oh my God...! The one in my textbook gives only a summarized of that part, but freaking hell, I quote this from a website, meaning no summary, and holy shit! It almost made me want to join the Nazis!

"It is nonsense to burden young brains with a load of material of which, as experience shows, they retain only a small part."

I just gotta admit, I entirely agree. Why are they making us memorize Chemistry and Physics textbooks and shit like that? And all that stuff about boxing, nicely said!

"Not a single day should be allowed to pass in which the young pupil does not have one hour of physical training in the morning and one in the evening; and every kind of sport and gymnastics should be included."

Two hours of training per day... Just imagine how freaking strong we all will be after a month or two! You just gotta admit, even though he's a crazy bastard who started World War II and made... *checks Wikipedia* over sixty-two million people lose their lives, we still gotta admit, he's a freaking genius.

And yeah, one of the Undesirables are homosexuals, right? Let's all wish Ephraim luck, he could never become part of the Nazi 'family life' ideology and would be rounded up and sent to concentration camps. :(

You know during the Conference in which Britain and France persuaded Czechoslovakia to give Sudetenland to Germany, Chamberlain also signed an agreement with Hitler which said that Britain and Germany would never go to war again, agreeing to work out any future differences by negotiation, right? Chamberlain returned so happy, believing that he had saved Europe from war and proclaimed that he had achieved 'peace for our time'. Just look at this photo, showing Chamberlain back at Britain, holding the agreement up in the air and waving it around, proud of what he had done.

Thinking of what happens later, I can't help but laugh out loud at his stupidity, rofl. Look at him, waving that piece of paper so proudly. XD

And you know, for the Nazi-Soviet Pact, Hitler and Stalin secretly agreed to take over the lands of Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland and Romania and split them up among themselves, right? I pity those six countries, lol. It's like, "Hey, why is Germany taking my western land? And hey, why is the Soviet Union taking my eastern land? What is going on?" They are all probably confused, rofl, seeing that neither Hitler nor Stalin would even bother to inform them of the Nazi-Soviet Pact, forget about agreements. Hard not to pity them, lol.

In my History textbook, there is one page which discusses whether Britain and France should use appeasement or not. One of the points for appeasement was, "Hitler was anti-communist and was doing a good job of restoring Germany, so he should be supporter." Hey, that's extremely mean, unfair and cruel to the communists. D:

And yeah, Churchill made this before the Battle of Britain: 'Hitler knows that he will have to break us in this island or lose the war. If we can stand up to him, all Europe may be free and life of the world may move forward into broad, sunlit uplands. But if we fall, then the whole world, including the United States, including all that we have known and cared for, will sink into the abyss of a new Dark Age made more sinister, and perhaps more protracted, by the lights of perverted science. Let us therefore brace ourselves to our duties, and so bear ourselves that, if the British Empire and its Commonwealth lasts for a thousand years, men will still say, "This was their finest hour!"' I gotta admit, that was a great one.

There was this paragraph inside the textbook, talking about why Germany lost WWII: "In contrast, Germany's ally, Italy, did not perform well. Hitler had to send troops to assist the Italians in north Africa and later, into Italy to try to stop the Allied invasion. These troops could have been used more effectively elsewhere." What the heck are you implying!? Heck care about your friend, and let the Allies invade Italy for all Hitler care!? *spits*

Japan bombed Pearl Harbor, right? It is said that a Japanese naval task force set off on 26 November and reached there on 7 December. That's 12 days. How far is the distance between Hawaii and Japan??

Using Pythagoras' Theorem, the distance is 372.32378382262930585242928888154 pixels. The scale of the map is 121 pixels:2000km. So the distance is 6154.1121292996579479740378327521km. Twelve days, that is 288 hours. So their speed? 21.368444893401590097132075808167km/h. Estimate to 21.4km/h. Damn, I think I can cycle faster. *rolls eyes*

Vernon very happily sent me this SMS: "In a very short time, several hundred million peasants will rise up like a mighty storm, like a hurricane, a force so swift and violent that no power, however great, will be able to hold it back." Rofl, that's Mao Zedong's quote btw. I replied with Hitler's quote (forth paragraph of this blog post), rofl. And oh, I was lazy to type out Vernon's SMS, and thus sent it to my computer from my handphone using Bluetooth. XD

You know America's strategy of island-hopping against Japan? Reminds me of the last Night Elf campaign in Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos, lol. The Humans, Orcs and Night Elves had to defend the World Tree from the Undead. The Undead first crush the humans, then build a base at the humans' previous base while unsummoning their first base for money. After they defeat the orcs, they build a third base at the Orc's previous base while unsummoning their second base. ISLAND HOPPING!! :O

6 August 1945, American B29 bomber, Enola Gay, arrived at Hiroshima and dropped an atomic bomb, destroying the city and killing eighty thousand people. The plane's pilot, Paul Tibbets, was moved to cry, "My God, what have we done?" God replies, "You have delivered pwnage." -.-

Vernon sent yet another SMS, and rofl, nothing to do, we started quoting to each other the History textbook. XD

Vernon: It is better to jaw jaw than to war war.
Samy: Oh God, what have we done?
Vernon: The sleeping giant begins to feel it.
Samy: The adventure was the product of brains fired by sheer madness.
Vernon: Curious. I seem to hear a child crying.
Samy: Isn't it weeping?
Vernon: Lol i dunno. I not reading there yet. Sian. The teachers and the moe (Ministry of Education) are the carving knife and serving fish while we are the meat.
Samy: Serving dish la, what serving fish (Note: "fish" and "dish" are typed the same way in SMS)
Vernon: Spell wrong. Lol
Samy: Don't get me started up on Hitler's quote again. It'd be great if he's the Ministry of Education, lmao (Oops, I mean Minister :P)
Vernon: Ya. Then math will be easier. A bomber on take off carries 140 bombs. It heads for india. It bombs the town.
Samy: And how many banglas die?
Vernon: The whole population. For the sake of a pure world.
Samy: You know, I'd be more glad if Hitler becomes Minister of Education not for the maths, but for two hours of training per day. How freaking strong would that make us, man?
Vernon: Enough to own bangla.
Samy: Exactly! Furthermore, read how Hitler aims for a racially pure state. That sounds freaking cool lol
Vernon: Ya. No gays allowed also. No filthy half breeds.
Samy: That means both Yoshida and Ephraim are done for o.O
Vernon: Lol. Yoshi is the bloody assasin of the workers
Samy: You misspelt assassin. And I was refering to Yoshida being a "half breed" lol

The Korean War reminds me of DotA (Defense of the Ancients), lol. One team pushes forward, then get pushes backwards by the other team, then pushes forward again, then get pushes backwards by the other team again. Lol.

Phew, I'm finally on Chapter 8. Three more chapters to go lol.

The History textbook says that Truman, who took over as US President when Roosevelt died, was more anti-Stalin than Roosevelt. Reminds me of the situation in China, lol, when Chiang Kai-Shek took over as leader of KMT when Sun Yat-sen died, and was more anti-Mao than Sun, lol.

Can't explain why, but I like the name of Warsaw Pact, lol. It just sounds so nice.

Lol, some stupid guy by the name of Imre Nagy, came to power as Prime Minister in Hungary, appointed by Khrushchev, the leader of Soviet Union after Stalin. He made Hungary leave the Warsaw Pact, ordering Soviet forces to leave the country, and allowing candidates from parties other than the Communist Party to stand in elections. Stupid noob, he's asking for it, man. It's no wonder Khrushchev came and owned him lol.

You know about the Cuba Crisis, right? Don't worry, man, Cuba is 150km from the southern coast of USA. If it travels at the same slow speed as when Japan attacked Pearl Harbor... 7 hours, yikes, so fast? Okay, guys, start worrying. XD

Yeah, and the story about Peter Fechter crossing the Berlin Wall. In the textbook, it says here that his friend managed to get over the barbed wire on top of the wall, but Fechter hesitated and was shot in the back by the border police. Reminds me of Zangetsu's quote.

"Why do you run, Ichigo? You still have not called me. Face forward, Ichigo. You should be able to hear it now. That which blocks your ears is worthless fear. The enemy is one, you are one. What is there to fear? Cast off your fear! Look forward! Go forward! Never stand still. Retreat, and you will age. Hesitate, and you will die. Shout! My name is..."
- Zangetsu

Hesitate, and YOU WILL DIE! :O XD

What the fuck? In the History textbook, it says that 20,000 out of 100,000 Communists survived the Long March in page 63, but yet in page 257, it says 5,000 out of 100,000 Communists survived. Which is which? Wikipedia says it's 7,000 out of 86,000, lol.

I'll blog about today:

Morning assembly, and everyone is studying Chemistry. The heck, lol. Is Chemistry that important? I don't think so.

First exam was E. Maths Paper 1. Gotta admit it's quite easy. There is only one question in which I encountered difficulty, the one of number patterns. Who cares, it's only two marks. -_- I took a surprisingly long time to finish the paper, lol, 2 hours and 10 minutes out of the 2 hours and 30 minutes given. After finishing, I wanted to check, but heck, I got bored after checking the first question, so screw it, I took the extra paper and started drawing Zabimaru. XD

Sure looks a lot better now, right?

Gotta admit, the end still looks weird, lol, but that's the best I can do. The images of Zabimaru I found on the Net are inconsistent. Some are longer, some are shorter, some show Zabimaru getting wider, some don't, some with longer spikes, some with shorter spikes, argh.

And yeah, I forgot this, and only remembered after I went to read Vernon's blog. There is one trigonometry question in which we are supposed to find the height of a flag pole. Everyone has got 3.7km for their answers. O.O 3.7km... How many times of Ephraim is that?? O.O *calculates* 711538461538.46 times. Ouch, poor Ephraim.

And after that, before the Chemistry paper, everyone is studying Chemistry, and what the heck, Wei Sheng is studying Geography while I am studying Physics. XD

I screwed the Chemistry paper up, kthsbye. I have no freaking idea what 95% of the questions are asking for, and in the remaining 5%, I don't know what it means. Too many words I don't understand. Of course, that is what you expect from someone who does Maths during Chemistry lessons and didn't even bother to take out his Chemistry textbook for even one second to revise, right? I screwed it up, and I'm proud of it.

Vernon wrote the lyrics of the song Eyes on Me at the back of the Chemistry paper after he's done and showed it to me after the exam, rofl. Damn, I should probably get my lazy ass off and start completing Final Fantasy VIII... -.- Well, Final Fantasy XII first, lol, I'm just four boss battles away from completing the game's storyline.

And Vernon wrote this on his blog: "haha its a nice song ma. and im sort of addicted to ff8 again. I JUST HOPE [the chemistry teacher] DOESNT THINK ITS DEDICATED TO HER"

ROFLMAO!!! XD

All right, blog's over. Photobucket is taking a looooooooooong time to load, man. Damn it, hurry up, I need to upload Zabimaru. :\
