Happy New Year - Class Chalet

I would first like to begin the first blog entry of the year 2008 with a "Happy New Year". :D Wish that throughout this new and wonderful year, all of your dreams will come true and all of your hopes will realize! Just don't give up on your New Year's Resolutions so fast. I know they are stupid and all, but at least don't give it up so fast, on the sake that you wasted time thinking up of them!

After not touching my computer for three days, I'm starting to feel the symptoms of my computer withdrawal... *shudders* Yeah, it was awfully cold and I was shivering, and the fact that I was tired, fatigued and easily falling asleep anywhere, anytime is NOT helping. Phew... I doubt I can survive without my computer. XD

Those three days were spent on the class chalet, which was from the afternoon of 30 December to 1 January (this morning). Three days and two nights. I had a really fun time, but I think my class needs to go out, do some outdoor activity and get some freaking fresh air. Not stay inside the small and cramped (the word "cramped" is easily an understatement. Just try squeezing twenty to thirty people into that small and pathetic room. Now you see why Yoshida and Vernon are complaining that they should have booked for more rooms. I can see that the one beside ours is empty) chalet room and no-life, playing mahjong and PSP. =.= It is boring, man, and boring like hell.

Okay, here comes the elaborate part.

I was originally going to go with Vernon, but that guy rather slack and play Fiesta all the way until 5pm plus, and since Yoshida offered to go to the chalet with me [which, I admit, was something that I could never, ever possibly imagine. I thought that he would go himself, and since being almost like an anti-social throughout the whole holidays (we haven't been in contact until those few days before the chalet), I thought he wouldn't bother to reply to my SMSes asking him if he wants to go to the class chalet together anyway. Besides, he told me on MSN that he was going on midnight. =.= I should have recognized it as a joke, but, knowing Yoshida, I just can't XD], I might as well go with him.

Was supposed to meet up at Tampines MRT Station at 3.30pm. While waiting for the bus to Tampines MRT, where I agreed to meet up with Yoshida, I noticed a significant number of taxis driving past the bus stop with no passengers on board. Man, I really pity those taxi drivers. They are the victims in the event of an increase in taxi fares, nobody else. Oh well, nothing I can do. I'm just a poor little boy who has to take the bus. Maybe you can be the one to help the taxi industry, by taking more taxis? :P

The stupid bus came a bit later, so I ended up late by two minutes, lmao. Arriving at 3.32pm, expecting Yoshida to be leaning at the walls of Guardian and expecting to tell him, "Yo, sorry to be late!", I was rather surprised that Yoshida wasn't there. I took my spectacles out and scanned around the area one more time, but nope, he still wasn't there. Man, he's late every single time. I decided to pop into the toilet while waiting for him. Came out and saw him. He asked, "Where did you go? I saw you going off somewhere." Oh, so you just had to show your face the moment I quitted and gave up looking for you? :P

I was thinking of going over to Tampines Mall to buy something for the gift exchange thingy, but guess what? Yoshida has a faster idea. "Just pop into Guardian and get something." Lol. So I followed his advice, popped into the pharmacy, saw potato chips being sold right at the entrance (in other words, I didn't bother going in further or exploring around to see what other things are being sold :P), took one of them, and while wondering what the price would be, walked over to the cashier. XD

Oh, and I copied the post from the class blog which I linked to, talking about the gift exchange, because after reading the posts, I can somehow infer that the class blog exists only to convey information about the class chalet, and once that is done, it might get deleted soon.
Do note that we'll be having a belated christmas gift exchange! It will be during the 2nd day of the chalet which is on the 31st of December (also the bbq night). Recommended value is 5$ and below and guys, pleaseeeee buy with sincerity. Don't appear with some cheapo-mama set of markers from the 1$ shop because it dries easily :D
We boarded the MRT and it was only until reaching Pasir Ris MRT Station that I finally remembered: That day was Sze Ling's birthday as well, and I promised to give her a present. Sorry, Sze Ling, really couldn't think of what to give you, so I hope you don't mind chocolate. And oh, sorry for not bothering to at least nicely wrapping the present up as well! Didn't have time. Hope you don't mind... :)

We walked to the class chalet, because I told him that I want to try and save money (bus fares being in this context), lmao. Had a long chat, because I haven't being able to do so for two months, haha. Turns out he went back to Japan for two months before finally coming back here.

On the way, we walked past a bridge connecting two sides of a canal. Haha, that place was a rather memorable place for us, since last time (I forgot when though, and I couldn't find any entries on it from my blog, which was strange), Yoshida, Vernon, Ephraim and I crossed that same bridge. We saw the dirty water in the canal, and after seeing a pipe labeled "NEWater" connected to the bridge, laughed out loud. Who the hell would still dare to drink NEWater after seeing this, lmao?

In case you didn't get it, I'll explain. Since NEWater is made from sewage, and since the dirty, brown water in the canal was probably due to adding untreated sewage into it, we are implying that the NEWater could be made from the very dirty wall from THAT very bridge. Lmao. Oh, and I decided to take a picture as well. XD

Nothing much eventful while walking towards the chalet. We entered the chalet though, and realized that if we went alone separately, we couldn't have made it successfully into the chalet room where our class is. Guess why? Because Yoshida didn't know the room number, while I didn't know how to navigate around this place (being my first time here, while Yoshida told me that he has came here many times before). Phew, I'm glad the both of us came together. Would save us a lot of time walking around and looking for the place. XD

Nothing much to do there, just hang around. The girls are busy playing mahjong, and the guys are busy playing their PSPs, so to kill boredom, the first thing we did after going inside was to "raid the fridge". Wow, what the hell. They have gin, vodka (with a high alcohol content of 47%! O_O Who the hell dared to buy it!? O_O Well, I heard it was Dao Hsen), beer, rum and wine. What, the, hell. And guess what? Yoshida actually brought wine. O_O When he told me that in Tampines MRT Station, I thought that he was just kidding, but what the heck, he really did! He put it inside the refrigerator. Guess no one likes wine in room temperature, huh?

Since it was Sze Ling's birthday that day, they decided to have a surprise for her. Close all the curtains, prepare the birthday cake, and have everyone hold party poppers. I don't know why they just insist on having the candles lighted. The fires keep extinguishing and they keep re-lighting and re-lighting it. Must be really fun to do that. In the end, the girls got bored and just decided to all stand around and use their bodies to guard the fires against the winds. Way to go.

Sze Ling came together with Fym, and guess what? She peeked through a gap in the curtains and instantly spoiled the whole surprise. ^_^" Oh well. XD Sian, I didn't get to eat her birthday cake. =.= No one gave me a slice. T_T

Afterwards, Yoshida got bored, and decided to take his PSP out and play it as well. Yay, he lent it to me to play it later. :D It is rather interesting and fun initially, but it sorts of get boring and monotonous a while. Sigh. Or maybe it is his games.

After a while of rather boring boredom, Yoshida took out his handphone, deciding to call Vernon and ask when he is coming. Just then, rather coincidentally, Vernon SMSed me, asking for the room number, lmao. He doesn't read the class blog, does he? =.= Yoshida called him, and after quite some time, we decided to go and bring him here.

We met at the entrance of the chalet. Even without wearing my spectacles, it was plainly obvious to recognize him even from a distance. Well, come on, who the heck would wear black on that perfectly fine and sunny afternoon? XD The two of them decided to go to Downtown East and play pool, and I decided to tag along.

That, being my first time seriously playing pool, went rather well, I must admit. Yoshida was really patient "coaching" me how to shoot, and Vernon was patient as well in teaching me about the rules. ^_^ They even allowed me to play as a third character, haha. XD I mostly helped the losing guy (which was Yoshida most of the time :P), but with my lousy skills, I really didn't help out much. XD

Oh, and the cue really reminds me of a gun. So much that I took it did Kilik's Phoenix Roar. My favorite attack of Kilik. XD

After spending one hour playing pool, we decided to pop into the arcade next. Nothing much to play there, except Time Crisis IV. Man, I really wanted to play House of the Dead 4, haha. Every arcade should have at least that game. -.- We took turns playing Time Crisis IV. Vernon and I started first (in which I used the screen on the right, and both Yoshida and I started talking about how handsome the player two guy looks compared to the player one guy XD), with Yoshida holding the arcade card. When one of us lost all lives, the one not playing would substitute, giving the guy who "died" the card, and this continues on, haha. We wasted so much money on Time Crisis IV that Yoshida kept asking, "Are you sure you really still want to continue?" XD

Not much games there, so after we got bored of Time Crisis IV, we spent a long time walking around while deciding what games to play. The last game we played then was Time Crisis III, and Yoshida managed to find out that even though the card scanner is working, it could be taken out, and the circuit boards inside could be seen. O_O I took a picture, haha.

Just as we got bored of playing Time Crisis III and were ready to leave, Fym SMSed us asking where we are. Wow, what a coincidence, haha. I thought that we would be having dinner together as a class or something, haha, hence they asked us where we are, and told Vernon and Yoshida that we should head back to the chalet. Along the way, we encountered Huiling, Jieling and Jiasui. For some reason, they kept waving at us, before the conversation, during the brief conversation that we had (asking each other where they are heading as well as replying to the question as mentioned earlier) and after the conversation, haha. Also, we encountered a police car, and Yoshida whispered to us, "Hurry up, walk faster, let's get the hell outta here!" Lol, it's as if he has something to hide from the police. No idea if he's joking or not to be honest. He also revealed he was carrying a knife. Just a little Swiss Army knife, bleh.

Went back to the class chalet. My hopes were too high for a pessimist, I figured. They didn't have anything planned. =.= Lol. Yoshida started playing his PSP, while Vernon and I watched him play. He would also lend us his PSP to play sometimes, haha. Then Yoshida decided to play alone, and Vernon and I started watching the videos I've got on my handphone. Yoshida was also playing around with his knife. Stabbing and slashing thin air with it. He even joked around stabbing me with it. I told him that if he continued to swing the knife around dangerously, I'd kick his ass. He then threatened to stab me with his knife if I kicked his ass, and I told him that I wasn't worried. Why? Because Vernon is here, so I have a "Doumeki" to protect me from that knife. XD Talk about boredom, lol.

Yoshida decided to open the refrigerator to check on his wine, while at the same time I decided to take a can of Tiger beer and drink it. After I finished one-third of it, Yoshida got bored and decided to just open his wine and drink it now. The girls started complaining that we should leave it until tomorrow before drinking it, but to be honest, there was really nothing they can do about it, lol. It was Yoshida's, after all, and the fact that Yoshida wasn't intending to come tomorrow didn't help one bit.

Yoshida poured a cup for himself and Vernon, and despite the fact that I was already drinking beer, I asked for one as well. Hmmm... Wine tastes sweet, lol, unlike beer, which is bitter, lol. ^_^ I then continued to drink my beer, and what the hell, just one-third more and I was already starting to feel dizzy. Shit. Luckily Yoshida offered to help finish my one-third full can of beer. XD

The three of us then decided to go back to Downtown East and have dinner. On the way there, I kept knocking into shit, and every time I did, Vernon would accompany with a shouting of his signature "OWNED!". Man, I wonder if it is because I drank wine with beer, or is it the Tiger beer. Didn't feel anything when I drank a can of Carlsberg beer last time. No wonder they called Tiger beer "tiger". So strong. O_O

We went to McDonald's for dinner. As some sort of a "tribute" to last time when the three of us went to the McDonald's in Tampines Mart for lunch (with Ephraim popping out of nowhere in the middle), I went to get four straws, kidding that maybe Vernon would say "Same as him." while ordering and he would need that extra straw to clear his vegetables. Alas, I, unlike Yoshida, am not an esper, and thus that extra straw went unused. Indeed, Vernon even took a straw for himself, meaning that two straws went unused. I apologize for the fact that I possess no psychic abilities whatsoever.

We were eating rather slowly, chatting about anime and games. Vernon tried, without success, to get Yoshida to play Fiesta, lmao. I highly doubt that Yoshida would play any MMORPGs... :P And sigh, while drinking my coca-cola halfway, I spilled some on my shirt. Needless to say, Vernon went pretty loud with his "OWNED!". I think I'm going to miss bub telling me "OWNED" in my face... :P

Something rather weird happened as we left the restaurant. Yoshida and Vernon both wanted to go to a toilet, and instead of the toilet just right beside McDonald's as I pointed out to them, they took the effort to went all the way to the toilet next to the arcade.

That was an obvious attempt to try and never get back to that boring chalet room, by trying to increase the distance between themselves and it. =.= And heh, we popped into the arcade again. To be honest, I could hardly remember what we played at the arcade the second time that day, and I had to count on Vernon's blog to do that. Let's see...
"Went to the chalet room n had a drink...so thirsty =x then just sat around playing psp and cards. so boring one. around 10 we left to play more arcade. dis time only a bit of time crisis...then played basketball...world combat...street fighter...daytona...lol thats about it ha."
-Vernon's blog
Oh yeah, basketball. We played the first game, and Vernon was all "袖手旁观,见死不救。 (Stand by and do nothing, to live somebody in the lurch.)", lol. Okay lah, not that bad lah, I was exaggerating. :P But still, he just stood there and watch us play, lmao, mainly watching us missing shots. =.= So I started complaining, and in the second game, he "路见不平,拔刀相助。 (The road we walk is not without dangers, so we should draw our swords and help each other... Or something like that.)", lol! Three of us combined don't even make it to round three... T_T

If I don't get stronger... I won't be able to protect my nakama. That's because even if they aren't strong, I have nakama that I want to keep with me. If I don't get stronger than anyone else, I'll lose them all! I thought about a way to fight at my fullest. So that I don't lose anyone... So that I don't let anyone drift away... You won't be able... to keep up with me any more. All of my techniques... are going to evolve by one step! Gear Second!!

Hehheh. What did we play next, Vernon? "World Combat"? What the hell is that? ... *checks Wikipedia...* A "military themed first-person light gun rail shooter"...? Oh! That loser sucky game with rifles that are absolutely impossible to aim with and which I deem as an ultimate waste of time and money? Man, Vernon, and you still went on to remember its name! I'm impressed! Really!!

Such a lousy game, in my opinions, is not fit for anyone to remember...

And next we played... "Street Fighter"? Oh, that 2D side-scrolling fighting game with lousy graphics where Yoshida and I played against each other? I got bored of mashing the buttons and getting my hands tired and painful as a result, and just sort of let Yoshida win. :P He fought on and defeated a computer opponent before finally getting thrashed. Finally, so we can finally stop watching him play and leave for another game. :P

And yeah, Daytona USA was the last game we played. At first, Yoshida and I played against each other, in the Advanced stage. Some other rude bastard came and joined our game without telling us anything, effectively interrupting our game, damn it. And worse, he ended up number one. Fucking bastard. -.- Yoshida won second place, and I last, because that stupid brakes wasn't working, so I can't drift. =.= What's worse is that I only realized that the brakes don't work after about half of the game is over. -.-

After watching us play, Vernon suddenly became really easy to convince to play the game with us, haha, especially since Vernon particularly has literally no experience at racing games, and the fact that he kept avoiding them didn't help much. Since Vernon came, we had to play the Beginner track. Yay, this time I switched to one which the brakes are working. :D But still, don't really need much drifting in the Beginner track. XD Once, Vernon was behind me. I was thinking of going in front of him, then hitting the brakes hardly, so he slams into me, slowing himself down while speeding myself up, as some sort of kisiaoing Vernon. :P But guess what? Since I couldn't see Vernon (whose car is behind me) on my screen, I had to look at Vernon's screen (which is beside mine), since I can look at both his position and mine from there. I paid too much attention on his screen, and didn't realize when my car went off-track and into the grass. Vernon took this chance to overtake me. DAMN! XD

It took me quite some time to overtake Vernon and reclaim my position of first place, lol. In the end, I managed to win first, Vernon got second, not bad for a first time, and Yoshida, didn't know what the hell he was doing, lmao, but he got a third. I think he went off to the toilet halfway while playing or something. XD

After we finished at the arcade, Vernon and Yoshida left home together, leaving me alone. Oh well, there are still others at the chalet room. :P Oh, and before Yoshida left, he gave me the gift he bought for tomorrow's gift exchange, wanting me to give it to the others for him instead, hinting the fact that he, sadly, wouldn't be going tomorrow. :( And, it was chocolate. The same chocolate that I bought for Sze Ling's birthday. No wonder he was complaining while I was buying that chocolate, though I couldn't understand what he was complaining about.

I took that chocolate back to the class chalet, and to admit it, feeling rather lonely. Two best friends left and are not coming back again, and the third, well, none of us three have been in contact with him for two months now, so hell if we know he is coming, lmao. Oh, by the way, I'm referring to Ephraim, a.k.a. shorty, a.k.a. Particle E, a.k.a. E-chan, a.k.a. gamma ray. XP We have too many nicknames for him.

And when I went back, I was like, "What the hell." It seems as if Singapore's reservoirs are going to overflow, and my classmates are performing drastic measures to make sure our water levels keep low, so the water don't overflow and become wasted. Okay, I'll explain, so drop the "What the fuck is he talking about?" look on your face.

Basically, the guys, running out of shit to do, are drawing cards out of a deck of poker cards, and whoever has the smallest number drinks two cups of water. Two cups. Thinking "Only!"? Yeah, imagine when you lost ten games. That's twenty cups. And to think five is enough to make average people bloated...

And to make things more "interesting", we have a game of "sudden death" every three games, where the loser drinks not two, but four cups of water. And sometimes we drink half a bottle because the guy pouring the water (Dao Hsen, if I remember correctly) is feeling lazy. And occasionally, it's one entire bottle. One freaking bottle.

Oh, a 1.5 litres bottle, by the way. Don't go thinking, "What? Just a 500 millilitres water bottle? That's easy!" ^_^"

Feeling that the game sounds really stupid, but I rather join in than stay at one side and be an anti-social, I asked if I could join. My request was bombed with enthusiastic replies, "Hero is joining! Hero wants to play!" Man, stop hero worshiping me already, I'm sick of it. Just start treating me like a normal classmate. -.- Oh, a normal ex-classmate, sorry.

Initially, I was feeling rather thirsty, so after playing a few games or so, when I kept watching them drink, I was like, "Hey, can you guys hurry up and win, so I can drink some damned water? I'm thirsty, damn it." XD Though, they, on the other hand, having started much earlier, and thus already bloated until they are almost at the "brink of destruction", thinks otherwise. XD I've heard they even played with that damned 47% vodka just now. I'm glad I joined in when they ran out of alcohol and are using just plain tap water now. ^_^"

I was feeling damn thirsty when Elsen was forced to drink half a bottle of water. His face is literally telling me, "If I drink one more molecule of water, I'm going to fucking explode.", though the others all chanting his surname, "Ho! Ho! Ho!" (which sounds very inappropriate and rude, I'm sure) didn't help much. In the end, due to my thirstiness, I offered to drink it for him. And since I was rather thirsty, I tried drinking as fast as I can. And to me, that means to drink with the water bottle in a vertical position, the opening at the bottom, so the water pours directly downwards into my mouth. ^_^ They all sounded impressed with my style of drinking, man. -.- It's like, "Wah! Hero! Hero drinking like that! Hero!!" *rolls eyes*

I SMSed Vernon, "If you see on the news tomorrow that the water levels in Singapore have reached critically low, and that we might be running out of water any time soon, I may know the reason." He didn't reply. D:

The game ended rather suddenly, so suddenly that I forgot about it. Oh well, no use crying over spilt memories. What did we do next...? Oh yeah, I saw Alvin playing Bleach: Heat the Soul 4, and immediately wanted to play it. :P So I asked Alvin to lend it to me.

The game is not bad initially, I must say. Rather impressed by the graphics. Though it gets monotonous later on. And I don't really get how to execute your techniques. It was so easy in games like Soul Calibur III, but in Bleach: Heat the Soul 4? For example, all I know for Ichigo is how to spam Getsuga Tenshou (-.-), and how to do a really swift melee slashing attack. Oh, and I accidentally summoned his Vizard mask once as well. I dislike how fast his Vizard mask breaks. =.= And for another example, all I know for Byakuya is how to make the blades come out and hit the opponent. I once accidentally did Senkei, four rows of swords, but big deal, didn't do much, or I didn't know how to effectively use Senkei, and it disappeared rather quickly before I learnt how to use it well. -.- Forget about Shuukei then, lmao.

Mission mode is rather boring. It's just fights after fights after fights. The way they fight is boring too. It's just "keep spamming O button". There's really no other better way. -.- I'm surprised that I do occasionally recognize some Japanese though, whether it be from reading the words or listening to the voices. XP Alvin, on the other hand, stays away from this game of his, just because he didn't understand Japanese. XD

I got bored soon, and went to watch the movies already unlocked. Hitsugaya doing Sennen Hyourou is cool. Byakuya doing Shuukei: Hakuteiken is cool. I like using Renji's Hihiou Zabimaru as well, but I know nothing but how to slam that huge freaking skeletal head into Byakuya (who I was fighting against, in Ichigo's inner world o.O). Argh, someone teach me how to do Higa Zekkou and Hikoutsu Taihou please.

I got bored and went to watch some of the videos in my handphone, but before that, I had to return Alvin his PSP. I looked around the chalet room, but couldn't find Alvin. That's strange, I didn't notice anyone leaving, and Alvin, with his size, should be fairly easy enough to spot. Hmm... I shouted, "Anyone seen Alvin?" Someone told me he went into the toilet and didn't come back. I was like, "What the hell?", especially after noticing that the toilet lights are off and the door is unlocked though closed.

I opened the door, and I was like, "What the fuck?" Alvin is sitting at the toilet bowl and TRYING TO SLEEP, LMAO!! Hey, Alvin, I know the room is pathetically small and cramp, and that we have already no space to sleep, but do you have to resort to THIS!? Argh, do what you want, I'm just here to return the PSP.

I also played Big Two with Jovian, Fym and Hiok Joo. I'm rather surprised that they aren't bored of that game yet. I learned it from Larry I think this year (okay, last year, at time of blogging, but at the time of the game, it was this year. Anyway, to prevent confusion, the year 2007), and I'm already bored of playing it. I bet they started earlier, and they are still not bored? Amazing.

I suggested we play Cheat! instead. I decided to copy Yoshida's strategy, to "collect cards" so, one, it becomes easier to spot when others are cheating, two, it becomes easier to play cards, and three, it becomes easier to cheat as well. But for some weird reason I don't know why, both Fym and Hiok Joo were pissed off by it, lol... =.= What's wrong, it's a proper strategy, and it's allowed by the rules... =_= They were so pissed off that we only played one game before they went off, lmao... -.-

Next time, I'll play Cheat! with Yoshida and only Yoshida. It's better to get pissed off (at least I don't threaten to leave the game so easily -.-) than pissing others off. -.-

After watching some videos, I got bored once again and borrowed Alvin's PSP AGAIN. Hmmm, someone continued playing the Mission mode, lol, after I got bored at Urahara vs Ulquiorra. He unlocked Hollow Ichigo as well, well done. ^_^ I like how they write Hollow Ichigo's name, lol. It's practically just Ichigo's full name in mirror writing. Like this: I guess that would make it in English. Whoa, what the hell... XD Beats "Shirosaki". -.-

(Ichigo's family name is Kurosaki, and "kuro" means "black". Since Ichigo's Shinigami attire is black, while Hollow Ichigo's is white, some tried to be funny, and started calling Hollow Ichigo "Shirosaki", where "shiro" means "white". -.-)

I got bored later on and went to listen to the voices. Some I particularly like, after listening to whatever has been unlocked, are Ichigo's "Bankai! Tensa Zangetsu!", Ichigo's "Koitsu ga ore no... BANKAI da!", Byakuya's "Bankai! Senbonzakura Kageyoshi!", Byakuya's "Shuukei! Hakuteiken!", Hitsugaya's "Bankai! Daiguren Hyourinmaru!" and Hitsugaya's "Sennen Hyourou!". Yup, only Ichigo, Byakuya and Hitsugaya's voices are unlocked. =.=

Got bored and went playing Breath of Fire III later on. The beginning is looooooooong and boring. Not good for someone who is only playing this game for maximum an hour. Played Dynasty Warriors next. Hmm, not bad, though I dislike how you need to run around to hack the enemies. Damn, can't they all come in hundreds, so I can easily dice-and-slice them to pieces? :D The fun in this game is to kill those miserable and inferior little troops, lmao.

Once, Ping Chong was sleeping on the bed when Kenneth decided to "challenge him for the right to sleep in that bed". Kenneth just jumped on and tried to pin Ping Chong (no, no puns intended here). Because I was bored and had nothing to do, I even acted as the referee, whacking the bed loudly while counting to two, when Ping Chong managed to get off Kenneth's pin. The two of them struggled so much the beds split apart, and Ping Chong literally threw Kenneth into the "trench" formed in the middle of the two beds and lie on top of him, falling asleep. Lmao. Attack unsuccessful, Kenneth. :P

I even took a picture of them struggling against each other for fun, lmao. I know my camera sucks already, so stop telling me that. =.=

Tried to sleep later on at about 1am, but couldn't fall asleep. Guess where I tried sleeping? At the edge of the bed where Fym and Hiok Joo were sleeping. -.- No choice lah, really cramp, lol. To be honest, but as the sleep-deprived-but-sadly-couldn't-fall-asleep guy, I don't really mind them stretching their legs and end up accidentally kicking me (I couldn't feel it anyway), but I mind them waking up and apologizing for it, because it keeps me from falling asleep as well. =.= Oh, and did I add that I was also unable to fall asleep because they kept playing mahjong? =_____=

At about 2am, Ping Chong, Elsen and Cheng Liang got bored of sleeping at that cramped little mattress beside Fym's bed, which the three of them had been sleeping together in, and all of them woke up to play mahjong, since they couldn't sleep anyway. I took over their mattress, mwahahaha.

Though still can't fall asleep... They playing mahjong so loud. Some more the lights are on. =_= Next time I go to a class chalet, I will bring things that dull my eyes and ears. Maybe I should just steal Tousen's zanpakutou. Just shout, "Bankai! Suzumushi Tsuishiki: Enma Koorogi!" Then I'd just toss Suzumushi away, there. Peaceful sleep at last.
"How do you like this pitch-black world without light or sound? Frightening, isn't it? This Enma Koorogi robs everyone within of spirit force sense, sight, hearing, even smell, and creates a pitch-black hell. The only one who can escape from this hell is he who holds this main part of Suzumushi. It's useless. You cannot catch me. No matter how expert the enemy, once they suddenly lose the light, it is over... because a slight bit of fear is born then. A slight bit of fear slows movements by half a step."
-Tousen Kaname
XD

Having that said, I'm rather surprised by Fym's ability to sleep through all of it. Man, she looked so deep in her sleep, I'm envious. Oh, and she looked rather cute in her sleep as well, like a sleeping angel. :P Okay, I know I should be focusing on my sleep, but hey, couldn't help it. -.-

Tried in vain to sleep all the way until 4am, when they decided to go to McDonald's for "breakfast". Originally, at around 1am, while they were deciding on the idea, I decided to go along as well, but now, sleeping all alone in that comfortable mattress, my body tired (even though my consciousness wasn't -.-), I felt lazy and didn't want to go now, lol.

Someone unexpected came and asked me if I wanted them to buy something at McDonald's and take it back for me to eat. It was Ping Chong, lol. Yeah, I never expected him to come and ask me so kindly to be honest. It was almost as if yesterday that the two of us became friends four years ago (I still remember he told everyone to call him by his nickname "Pinky", lmao), then I became friends with Ephraim, and due to Ephraim and Ping Chong being enemies during their primary school days, Ping Chong decided to be enemies with me too. "The friend of my enemy is my enemy too." Lol, surprisingly how I still remember that.

So, well, I think it's time we bury the hatchet, haha. We became enemies over a really stupid reason anyway. All your fault lah, Particle E. :P And to be honest, I was rather surprised too that he called me by my name "Samy" instead of "Hero", that stupid nickname, lol.

Continued trying to sleep. I started to miss my Chemistry teacher. Where is she when we need her? Damn it, I miss how well I've slept during Chemistry lessons. After half an hour though, a strong smell of milo greeted us.

It seems as if while buying his breakfast at McDonald's, Kenneth accidentally spilled the ice milo he bought on his boxers, and ta-dah, milo-flavoured boxers. =.= I've heard from Fym or Hiok Joo (one of them, I can't remember who ) that the milo smell was particularly strong, but I don't know... Didn't really smell anything to be honest. My sense of smell is the most useless sense I ever had in my opinions, man.

If only losing my sense of smell doesn't mean that my taste wouldn't get affected as well, I'd have gladly went to Yuuko's shop (*cough* xxxHolic *cough*) and exchange my sense of smell for a sword. Maybe I'd get one of Ashura or Yasha's swords if I'm lucky. Or maybe, even better, I'd get Ginryuu. :O Nah, I'm still hoping that Kurogane would one day reclaim Ginryuu back. It means so much to him, lmao.

Kenneth spent a particularly long time cleaning his boxers, lol. So long that out of curiosity, and due to the fact that Kenneth kept exclaiming shit and refused to shut up (:P), Hiok Joo and I popped into the toilet to have a look. Holy shit, man, just holy shit. The water flowing out of his boxers have the freaking colour of milo!! O_O I suggested he get a bucket, fill it up with water and "drown" (I couldn't find the appropriate word to use here...) his boxers in it, but nope, couldn't find a bucket, so instead, I found him a plastic, rectangular tank as a substitute. XD

Tried sleeping for another half an hour, but damn, still couldn't fall asleep. I gave up on trying to sleep at around 5am (so I didn't have any sleep at all that night =.=), got my mp3 player and started listening to music. I am eternally grateful to the person who bought the bottle of coca-cola I found in that bridge. It was thanks to the presense of the pwnage caffeine inside that allowed me to avoid having to yawn every three seconds. =.=

Fym, Dao Hsen, Huiling and Jiasui were playing Big Two on the mahjong table, and I decided to join in, since I had nothing better to do anyway. So sad that I didn't even win a single game. D: Since there were five players, instead of just dealing out ten cards to three players and eleven cards to two, they insisted on having the loser of the game shuffle and deal the cards for the next game, then let the "audience" player substitute the loser. Lol.

Dao Hsen kept making a pun with Jiasui's name, lol. He kept saying, "我要回家睡。 (wo yao hui jia shui; I want to go home and sleep), and the last two words, "家睡", sounded like Jiasui's name, lol. It's funny the first time, but he said it so many times that it got boring and stupid. D:

We played all the way until 8am, lol. Three hours of Big Two... O.O Once, I lost a game, so I went out after shuffling and dealing out the cards. Guess I got bored by staying indoors, as well as having to tolerate the coldness coming from the air-con. I prefer the warm, bright rays of the Sun, unlike the majority of my classmates, thank you very much. ^_^ Out of boredom, I took this picture of the view after stepping out of the chalet room. XD

Didn't know why or how, but out of a sudden, guess it was due to boredom, the girls started talking about, of all animes and mangas, Bleach. The last time I checked, Bleach is shounen, man. Shounen. =.=

Jiasui (if I remember correctly, at least ) was like, "Za... Zanpato, Zapaki, Zarato... Uh... Um...", and after a long silence when I was thinking, "Huh? Zanpakutou?", accompanied by the very first Shikai command I can think of, "Souten ni Zase, Hyourinmaru!" (:P), she came and asked me, "You watch and should know it, right? Bleach? The 11th guy?"

I replied, "Oh." , thinking, "If I forgot the name of my Captain, then I might as well bang my head on the wall, haha." And confidently, I replied, "Zaraki Kenpachi!" I even know how to write his name in kanji (更木剑八). If his zanpakutou has a name, a release command (I doubt it though, since his zanpakutou, like Ichigo's Zangetsu, is constantly-released) and Bankai name (we'll have to wait for hundred of years of Bankai training after Zaraki learns its name though -.-), I'll memorize them too. Dattebayo.

Then, someone said that she liked the 10th guy, Hitsugaya, and that he was rather handsome. I was like, "Huh? That brat? " The fact that I still haven't dislike him so far is because of his pwnage fight against Luppi ("Your weapon may have eight arms, but mine is all the water in the atmosphere! Sennen Hyourou! Sorry. Eight wasn't enough."), lol. Trying to protect Hinamori, but lacking the strength to actually do so. Losing against Gin, being owned by Aizen. Thankfully for him, he defeated Luppi, or I'll start asking how come someone as weak as him can become a Captain, lol.

Then another girl (I don't know why, but I don't remember who ) states that she was 12 years old. My immediate reply in my head, "No way, man!!", but I didn't say that, because I had no reason. Now though, thanks to the help of the pwnage Internet, I've found a rather simple reason to show why Hitsugaya is MUCH, MUCH OLDER than the age of 12.

From Wikipedia on Hitsugaya:
Hitsugaya Toushirou (冬獅郎 日番谷) is a fictional character in the anime and manga series Bleach created by Tite Kubo. He is the captain of the 10th Division in the Gotei 13.

From Wikipeda on Shinigami:
There are three different ways to become a Gotei 13 captain:
1. To take the captain proficiency test (隊首, taishu), which requires the ability to perform bankai. Presumably, most shinigami become captains using this method. At least three existing captains, including the Commander-General, have to witness the test.

So, generally, since Hitsugaya is a Captain, which requires the ability to perform Bankai, we can pretty much by now assume that Hitsugaya knows Bankai. However, the other two ways do not require that the candidates know Bankai (which was how Zaraki became a Captain without knowing Bankai), so it might be possible that Hitsugaya does not know Bankai. However!

From Wikipedia on Hitsugaya:
Hyourinmaru's bankai, named Daiguren Hyourinmaru (大紅蓮氷輪丸, Great Crimson Lotus Ice Ring), causes ice to flow from Hyourinmaru onto Hitsugaya, forming into two large wings and a tail. Ice also forms into a dragon's head around his sword hand, encasing it up to the hilt; which is in the shape of an eight-pointed star. His right arm is covered fully until the wrist where it then spans into claws, leaving his hand and fingers free. Hitsugaya's feet are encased in ice in a similar manner to his right hand. Additionally, his wings are capable of folding around him to serve as ice shields. In various Bleach games, as well as in the anime, the wings can be used by Hitsugaya to fly. Three "flowers" of ice, shaped similarly to the lotus shaped guard of his zanpakutou, are also created behind Hitsugaya with four petals each, which melt away as Hitsugaya attacks.

Okay, he DOES have a Bankai.

From Wikipedia on zanpakutou:
Centuries of experience are normally needed to achieve bankai and ten years of additional training to master it; however, a device created by Kisuke Urahara can forcibly materialize a zanpakutou spirit, thus bypassing the experience portion of the training. This method is potentially fatal if not completed within three days, and the only two to successfully complete this abbreviated method of achieving bankai are Ichigo and Urahara himself.

In other words, you need at least a hundred years to learn Bankai. Only Ichigo and Urahara managed to do it in three days. So, we can very much eliminate out the fact that Hitsugaya could have did the same and used three days to get Bankai as well. In other words, Hitsugaya did spent centuries to master Bankai.

So, please tell me how is he still 12? O_O

He DOES look like he's 12 though. Why else would Ichigo keep calling him "Toushirou" instead of the "Hitsugaya Taichou" that he always wanted to be called, lol?

They soon got bored of playing Big Two (took them long enough) and went... playing mahjong. =.= Next time we have a class chalet, I'm going to spend the three days before the start of the class chalet FREAKING LEARN HOW TO PLAY THAT GOD DAMNED GAME.

And guess what I was doing? Wasting the battery inside my iPod (in other words, listening to music) while reading the Reader's Digest that I brought along. I'm glad I brought it. Was leaning on the door (because other than the entrance, there really is no other space for me to sit at =.=) beside Xiangbin, who was playing his PSP, lol.

Wow, I'm amazed. Shortly after finishing reading my magazine (which took an hour, by the way), I started to focus on listening to music, and before I know it, I dozed off, just like that, sitting down. XD The music sort of drowned the mahjong noises, lol. Well, I should know better. How many times have I dozed off in bed while listening to music? XD

And yup, that's the only sleep I ever got the whole night.

Lol, the guys in my class are all mischievous bastards. :P Shouting "Colgate! Colgate! (name of a brand of toothpaste)", rushing to the toilet to grab tubes of toothpaste and then squeezing them onto the faces of people like Alvin and Dao Hsen. XD Heard they started doing this back at the Sec 3 camp (which pretty much explains what the commotion was about when I was woke up by those 4R1 idiots fucking doing their fucking exercises and fucking shouting like fuck fucking early in the morning. -.- ...I think my sentence doesn't make sense. I'll re-phrase it. During the Sec 3 camp, early in the morning, those 4R1 idiots have already woken up. And they started doing exercise. Yes, like at 5am. A fucking hour before we are supposed to wake up. And yes, obviously, there are still others asleep!! And they were all shouting "1, 2, 3, 4! 2, 2, 3, 4!"! Yes, shouting! At the top of their lungs! Inconsiderate bastards!! I was woken up by them, god damn it. -.- Then again, so were a handful of other people suffering the same fate as me. :( When I woke up though, there was a commotion in my room. Vernon slept through it, don't ask me why. Those involved in the commotion were shouting incomprehensible words like "Alvin" and "toothpaste". Now I understand why. Phew, long explanation).

I took two pictures of Dao Hsen with Colgate on his spectacles.

I was expecting Dao Hsen to scream and shout and shit when he woke up and realized that the only thing in his vision are, um... white-white stuff... *rolls eyes*

Out of boredom, I borrowed Xiangbin's handphone, conveniently lying on the mattress in front of me. I checked out his music list. Lol, Bouken Desho Desho and Hare Hare Yukai... The second opening and ending respectively of The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. I think Xiangbin watches that anime too. XD Come to think of it, just WHEN is the second season coming out?

So, I was really surprised when Dao Hsen didn't shout after waking up. He just found the toothpaste on his spectacles, took his spectacles off, walked to the toilet to clean his spectacles, and then he finally shouted. The word he screamed? "ALVIN!" XD! I forgot whether it was Alvin or someone else who put Colgate on him, lol.

Fym was trying to get everyone to go swimming (which is a good effort by our dear vice-chairman, of course. This is a freaking class chalet, man! Get your asses out and enjoy the sun! Not stay cramped inside the room like people with no lives! ), but for some very weird reason, everyone just ignored her. She got bored soon after, so that idea was dropped, and ...... we continued to stay in the room like people with no lives.

I really wanted to swim. D:

At about 2pm, the guys decided that they feel hungry and thus wanted to go out for lunch. Despite not feeling hungry (since I had just eaten a cup of noodles previously as late breakfast), I decided to tag along. Strangely though, the girls decided to stay behind. C'mon, isn't this a class chalet? Aren't we supposed to do things as a class? Argh, do what you like.

We went to the food court at Downtown East to eat, the seven of us. Let's see... There were Faizal, Alvin, Kenneth, Ping Chong, Dao Hsen, Xiangbin and me. Yup. The seven of us originally planned to sit down at a long table with two benches by the side, but even that wasn't enough for us, all of us who felt especially cramped. Not helping much were Dao Hsen, who was refusing to sit inside, only wanting to sit outside, and Alvin, who took up the space of two people. ^_^" In the end, Faizal, Kenneth and I ended up sitting at a separate table.

After lunch, the seven of us went looking around Downtown East, because the majority of us still haven't bought something for the gift exchange yet. We went to the two gift shops across the arcade. Kenneth and Dao Hsen bought something, but not the rest, so we instead went to Watson's. Yes, the pharmacy. Those who have already bought stuff, like Ping Chong and me, were hanging at the entrance, enjoying the fan. XD Xiangbin bought toothpaste. Yeah, whoever receives it would be lucky. He or she would sure get to use it like hell tonight. Of course, whoever he or she uses it on wouldn't be happy...

Faizal bought chocolate, lol. Don't understand why am I laughing? Read on. The funny part is at later... XD Samuel also came out of nowhere and joined us. Since he had already bought something as well, he waited along with me, Kenneth, Dao Hsen, Ping Chong, and the rest of us who had already finished buying stuff, waiting for those still inside Watson's and slowly choosing their gift. Wanting to start a conversation, I asked Samuel what he bought. He told me he bought a notebook. Lol. As again, read on and you'll find out why am I laughing now. XD

We went back to the chalet room, and the boredom starts once again. Skipping the boring parts...

Later on, our class FINALLY decided to go swimming. Yes, finally. I've been waiting for like eight hours since 8am in the morning. =.= ...Then again, I can't really use this phrase "our class".

...Because only Fym, Adeline and I went. =.=

Faizal was originally intending to come along as well, but he was "experiencing hardware failures" (XP! Okay, he's stuck in the toilet with a stomachache, but I prefer the hardware failure one XD). I told Alvin, who was playing his PSP, to convey a message to Faizal, telling him that I'll be waiting at the swimming pool, before leaving with the girls.

Argh, Fym is a fast swimmer.

Lol, I'm rather surprised I still knew how to swim after not entering the water for so long (I have aquaphobia, dattebayo. ). Though, my lousy stamina prevented me from doing front crawl much, I can't really do backstroke (I quitted attending swimming lessons after learning front crawl, so didn't really learn backstroke. I did pick up how to do it from Dave though, but unfortunately, I didn't really know the arm movement, so my backstroke is a half-ass one, only using the legs. -.- Slow, but at least comfortable, and not really that tiring :P), and I can't really do butterfly either (Didn't even learn it at all. Just saw Franky doing his Franky Butterfly on One Piece and sort of picked it up. XD Damn tiring though), so in the end, I had to stick to my faithful and trustworthy breaststroke, lol...

Argh, the sun was too bright, so I can't really do backstroke much. For some reason, my left eye kept shutting itself and refused to open up as well, so I could only rely on my right eye. I think it's the strong sunlight. If anyone asks why I am only using one eye, I'd say that I lost vision on my left eye because I gave it, half of my own heart, to my clone.

Faizal went and fly aeroplane, lol... Waited for so long and still didn't see him come. -.- Adeline told me to go back to the chalet room and check, but bah, I'm lazy. :P

I got bored after swimming for an hour, so I got up, leaving the two girls behind, who wanted to swim some more. I went to the toilet, and... BUSTED! I forgot to bring my towel!! Lol, I ended up using the shirt that I was wearing before swimming (then? Should I wear the shirt that I was going to wear ) to dry myself, lol. No choice, lol.

I forgot that since there was the barbecue later, I should be wearing my class jersey, haha. I went back to the chalet room to change to my class jersey. Argh, I forgot to bring a comb as well. Thanks to Huiling for lending it to me, haha.

Later, Faizal came back, super fly aeroplane, and along with him, Ephraim! :D Yay, Particle E, long time no see, thought you mati! XD (mati = Malay for dead :P) Faizal told me that the two of them went to the arcade. =.= You fly my aeroplane to go arcade with Ephraim?? =_____= Then Faizal told me he didn't know that I went to the pool ahead.

Alvin, you useless piece of fat. Ask you convey one simple message also cannot ah? -.-

More boredom begins. Ephraim, Faizal and I tried playing some Jenga game which Huiling lent to us. We got rather bored later on, though, and Ephraim started reading a novel he borrowed from the library (blimey, I forgot how much of a bookworm shorty is XD), while I started listening to music. However, Ephraim didn't really like the mahjong noises (probably affected his reading), and I found it cramped inside the room as well (Ephraim wouldn't though, seeing his small size. I'm not jealous of it though), so the two of us decided to go outside.

We went to the beaches of Pasir Ris Park. Ah, what a windy breeze. I like it there. Watching a group of teenagers play volleyball there really make me envious, haha. If only my classmates would actually get out of that cramped little room and do some outdoor activity. Ah, I took a photo of the nice scenery as well. XD

After sitting there for half an hour or so, the two of us returned to the chalet, since the barbecue was almost going to start. Larry, long time no see, the guy who shared the same name as me! XD We had a little chat before the barbecue started, haha. Don't know why, but I found that I can chat rather well with him, lol. :O

Later, there were a group of guys, like Larry, Ping Chong, Xiangbin and Faizal, trying to start the fire for the barbecue. Ephraim and I joined in and helped. I realized something and remarked to Faizal, "Dude, you are the only one here who is not from a uniformed group." XD

We took quite some time to get the fire starting. So long that Samuel had to come and help as well. I am so sorry I don't have pyrokinesis. =.= So, the seven of us crowded around that small little aluminum tray, messing with firestarters and charcoal. Not much progress seen after half an hour. Samuel kept insisting that Xiangbin and Ping Chong did it the wrong way and that we should restart, and yet Xiangbin and Ping Chong stood firmed to their ground, stating that they did it correctly.

I'll just say we throw more firestarters in.

Larry, Faizal and Ephraim were just watching them light the fire. At least I was kind enough to help take photos. Hey, I'm a pyromaniac. Can't help it, can I?

Afterwards, the fire was finally a decently one, burning bright, but what they wanted is the ember. I don't mind either to be honest... And so begins the next step, to spread the fire over the charcoals to produce more ember. We started grabbing the paper plates and fanning the fire to spread it.

After a long and rather boring time, the seven of us have finally succeeded. On to the next stage, to barbecue. Xiangbin, Samuel and Ping Chong sort of "headed" the barbecuing, as they were the ones to flip the food and check whether it's cooked. Faizal became the "butter man", applying butter onto the food, and I was the "delivery man", taking the tray and delivering cooked food to the girls inside the room, who were all watching television, playing mahjong, and taking photos like mad. I don't really mind the job, haha. Getting to serve the girls, I've got a great job. And furthermore, it reminds me of Sanji, the Love-Cook from One Piece, lol.

Ephraim and Alvin prepared the food, especially the prawns, which they stick two satay sticks onto five of them, lol. They were such gentlemen, they even offered to peel the prawns, but the girls kept telling me (since I was delivering food, I sort of had to deliver messages from the girls to the guys now as well o.O) to tell them not to peel the prawns. Don't really know why, no time to ask the girls why, but my theory is that the girls thought that the food are coming too slow, and the time delay might be because we spent time peeling the prawns. So, if we stopped peeling the prawns, and let them peel themselves, the food would come faster. Ah, my apologies, ladies, but the slow food is because of the rather cold embers, not the peeling of the prawns. ;)

And Larry took the last job, to fan the embers. One paper plate alone wasn't enough, since one, it doesn't provide enough power, two, it breaks easily (well, it is disposable after all), so Larry was holding onto six paper plates at once. O_O Sometimes he stacks all six and fan with one hand, though sometimes he split to two piles of three plates each and fan with both hands, lol. Oh, and sometimes, during the period which there were no food finished cooking and waiting to be served, I substituted for Larry as well, telling him, "Sub. (short for "substitution") or "Tag. (for the wrestling term of switching)" before taking over the plates. XD

Larry comments that my substitution is a short-term but strong burst of energy, lol, before I gave the plates back to Larry. In case you don't get Larry's theory, it means that I would fan like hell, but get tired pretty soon after and quit. ^_^ Well, of course, Larry! Who is it that during the 2.4km run of the NAPFA test, roars his warcry out loud, sprint like no one else's business, then gets tired fifteen seconds later and starts to walk slow like hell? 俺だ! (Ore da!; Me!) XD

Man, I don't get why, but the girls rather like to complain, lol, making my job not really that easy. Sometimes they grow bored of a certain kind of food and refuse to take any, so I'm forced to stand at the door, holding onto the tray and shouting, "Um...? Otah? Anyone wants some otah? Please? Take some otah?" like an idiot. ^_^" Sometimes, they tell me they want a certain type of food, so I had to go and tell Samuel and Xiangbin to cook more of those food. They end up cooking too many, and the girls would refuse to take them after eating some. ^_^" Aiya.

Halfway while barbecuing, I saw an adult with hair covering his/her face (so I couldn't recognize him/her) suddenly barge into our chalet room. I was thinking, "What the hell? Some stranger just busts in all of a sudden?" Then the girls scream, "Mdm Low!!" Oh, it's just our form teacher. -______- She even bought sushi along, haha.

The next delivery, I said, "Satay, satay! Anyone want some satay? Oh, and pass me one of the sushis as well!" XD

The plates that Larry and I were using to fan were lousy. They broke easily, and once they broke, the power decreases sharply. So, while delivering food, I asked the girls, "Any plates Larry can use to fan the embers?" There was only one, ah, better than nothing. And Mdm Low got me one really small one. Looking at it, I was like, "Huh? You sure this thing can even produce any wind? Ah, whatever." and gave it to Larry. Larry used it for a second or so, looked at it for a while, returned it to me, and say, "It's useless." I went back into the chalet room, gave it back to Mdm Low, told her, "Larry said it's completely useless." and rushed to get the hell out as fast as I can (XD), finally telling Larry, "I hope you don't mind I add the word 'completely'. " ^_^

Mdm Low really cute sia. Guess what she do? She combine three of those plates together, fix them together with tape (typing this, I really want to ask, "WHO THE HELL BROUGHT SOME STUPID TAPE TO CLASS CHALET!?"), came out, and gave it to me. I was like, "Eh? What the hell? Can this thing work?" XD

Both Larry and I, doubting its power, refused to use it, so Mdm Low ended up fanning with those plates of hers herself. XD

Later on, Ephraim, Afiqah, and a group of others went to buy drinks, and so were taking orders. I immediately shouted, "COKE!" I know I'm not a cyborg who uses coca-cola as fuel *cough* Franky from One Piece *cough*, but coca-cola is good. Especially for someone who slept very little last night.

When the ones buying drinks came back, I delighted, but bleh, the coca-cola isn't cold at all. D: And the refrigerator is choked full. D: Guess what? Ephraim and I happily stuffed drinks into the freezer compartment. ^_^

Larry and I, both of us tired of fanning, decided to take a short break. I told him that I was rather bored of delivering messages ("Argh! No more otah! We want more satays and chicken wings!" "Tell them we are cooking the chicken wings later!" "Tell them not to peel the prawns! We can do so ourselves!"), so "if there is ever a war in Singapore, I'll take up any role, EXCEPT being a messenger. Delivering messages suck. -.-" Then, I went on to add, "Oh, and I don't want to be a scout too. =.= I'm sure Ephraim (who is beside us, the three of us taking a break together) doesn't too, right, shorty?" XD Making a poke at my stupid CCA. :O Larry laughed, telling me that he was almost going to suggest that I be a scout at war. XD

While Larry and I were chatting, Mdm Low came along and complained to us about the contents in the fridge (what's with the beer and wine in there, I'm really surprised she didn't scream and shout and make a din). I decided to make a poke at her for that. Asked her to help me take some Tiger beer from the fridge. XD

My intention: If I take beer myself and drink, and she catches me, I may get in trouble, because I'm still underage for drinking (I'd like to take note that if I go to China, Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Norway, Portugal, Romania, Spain, Switzerland, United Kingdom or New Zealand, I can drink openly, because I'm over their legal drinking ages, dattebayo :O). If she takes it for me though, it would automatically mean that she gives me permission to drink, problem solved, lmao, haha. XD I'm such a sneaky bastard. :P

Remembering yesterday's events, I decided that I would be wise to not drink the entire can myself. But Larry didn't want to drink any, Ephraim's too small and young, not to forget mentioning short (), and Yoshida's not here, lol. So guess what do I do? Get Mdm Low to drink some for me! XD I wanted to pour half a can into her plastic cup, but she only wanted a third, so I told her, "If I get drunk, 'cher, it's entirely your fault, because you offered to only help me drink so little!" Larry laughed. XD

Later on, while going into the chalet room and delivering food, I saw Afiqah trying to open a bottle of F&N. Blame the stupid carbon dioxide inside or something, but the soft drink burst out. Afiqah was shocked by that and let out a scream. Outside, Samuel asked me, "What was that scream inside about? Were our food really that bad?" I laughed out loud before explaining to him. XD

Later on, some of the girls came out and offered to help. I passed my tray to Sze Ling and asked her to take over my job and become the "delivery girl" instead. XP She gave the job to someone else later though. =.= She then sort of become the "music girl", playing music on her handphone for us to enjoy. XD Don't ask why, but she quitted after one song. I wanted to listen more, lol. =.=

So, what did I do after quit being the "delivery guy"? I became the "water boy", lol. Took a bottle of coca-cola, a packet of paper cups and walk around asking if anyone wants to drink. XD Though, with only two hands, I ended up saying, "Take the paper cup yourself please." ^_^" It was rather funny, as Afiqah was the first I ask (I don't know, maybe it was because she was right there, sitting at the entrance with Larry and Ephraim, just next to me, when I started, after taking the paper cups? O.o). Because I haven't open the bottle of coca-cola yet before I started, I went to try and open it after Afiqah replied, "Sure." She was rather afraid though, perhaps due to the previous incident of spilling some F&N. XD She was like, "Don't shake the coca-cola! Open it softly! Softly!" Sighing, I went off a few steps, to where there was no one beside me, and opened the coca-cola. None spilled. =.= As I pour the coca-cola to Afiqah, I told her, "I've been opening bottles of coca-cola for seven years." Lmao, owned. XP

After Larry took a break and I went to take on other duties, Ping Chong became the "fanner". Guess what? He freaking took the cover of the styrofoam box and fan. =.= Smart guy, lol, it was much better than those lousy plates. And instead of the embers, he went to fan the girls. Argh, clever, clever... Using this to impress the girls... No joke, no sarcasm, I found another cover and started fanning the girls as well. XD Hope they liked it, rofl. :P

Oh yeah, I didn't blog about the food, did I? I like the sausages the most, haha. It's quite large, so you can spend quite some time eating it if you take slow, small bites. That really suits us guys, who are busy cooking and serving food. I just take one sausage (I love how since we are cooking, we get first-priority in taking the food once it's done XD), put it in my mouth like a cigarette (XD) and eat it slowly while serving food and fanning, lol.

I like the satay as well, though since the girls like them as well, I didn't get to eat much of those. There was supposed to be a sauce, but I didn't bother. Too troublesome. XD Oh, the satay was rather spicy as well. Didn't know why.

I didn't eat the otah. Don't know why, but I don't like eating otah, and thus for that, has never ever eaten one in my whole life. Dattebayo. Didn't eat the prawns as well. No time to peel the prawns. :P Same with chicken wings. I'm lazy to deal with the bones. XP

Oh, as for why we guys had to do the barbecuing, while the girls get to stay inside, enjoy the air-con, take photos like crazy and wait for us to serve them, I thought it was because the girls did the barbecuing last year (I didn't go to class chalet last year :O), so I didn't really mind, even telling the other complaining guys, "It's alright, it's alright.", all the while assuming so. Until someone told me that last year, the guys did the barbecuing as well. O_O OMGWTFBBQHAX, lol!

I'm laughing out loud that the "BBQ" part finally made some sense, throughout the entire history of which I used it. XD

After that was the gift exchange. My potato chips went to Ling Ling, haha. Hope she enjoyed them, it caused me $3.50, and I could have ate it while watching Bleach or something. XD In return, I got Samuel's notebook. Hence why I laughed while blogging about asking Samuel what he bought. XD It was rather coincidental that I got his notebook, seeing that we have similar names (Samy and Samuel? O.o), haha.

I'm still trying to find a use for the notebook, lol. I have my handphone for storing of notes. Hmm... I appreciate it for being wrapped up so nicely as well, haha. Unlike mine, couldn't be half-ass. Just gave that potato chip together with that Guardian plastic bag. XD Anyway, here's a picture of the notebook. XD

What cracked me up, though, was Faizal, who bought chocolate at Watson's, and Yoshida. The gift exchange sort of cocked up, since no one is supposed to exchange gifts, but oh well, somehow, Faizal got Yoshida's chocolate and Yoshida got Faizal's chocolate!!! XD XD XD As Vernon very kindly explain the previous day when I told him that I got Sze Ling chocolate for her birthday, "Eh? But chocolate means love leh." XD XD XD

Ah, and I was a bit disappointed to tell the truth. I was rather hoping it would be a girl to receive Yoshida's present, so I can "have fun" with that girl for a bit (:P) and tell her, "Here, this is from Yoshida, who sends his love along with this present." (That was obviously to take advantage of Yoshida's absense ) But then it was Faizal. =.= Bleh. D:

But I further made fun of Faizal. "Here, Faizal, this is from Yoshida, with love. I'll also tell Yoshida that this chocolate is from Faizal, with love." XD! Lmao, two guys giving each other chocolate WITH LOVE!!! XD But then I was half-ass to give it to Yoshida. Don't even know whether we are meeting up again in the future or not. So I just threw it to Ephraim (Argh, the stupid fanning must have took away my strength, I accidentally hit Serene, who was sitting between Ephraim and I, with Faizal's chocolate Sorry, Serene! ), and ignoring shorty's protests, shout at him to make sure he gets Faizal's chocolate, together with his love (), to Ephraim, fully well-aware of the fact that like me, Ephraim might not meet up with Yoshida again in the future, lmao. XD

Well, before that, I was like, "Anyone going to TPJC? Uh... Anyone going to TPJC? Can help me give this to Yoshida...??" But everyone ignored me. =.= So I had no choice but to give it to Ephraim, lol. Anyone in 4R2 other than Yoshida who lets me find out he or she is going to TPJC, I will [insert some bad thing here lah, lazy to think of one XD]... -.-

How Dao Hsen got his own gift back though, I have no freaking ideas. The system cocked up.

After the commotion ended, everyone got back to doing their stuff. Hiok Joo and Huiping were roasting marshmallows, and I decided to join them. But my patience (or lack of) soon means that I am eating the marshmallows while roasting them, and finished the last one before it's even done roasting. XD I also tried to be chivalrous, haha, and offered to hold Hiok Joo's marshmallow stick for her, since the fire is hot after all. Ends up I ended up holding Adeline's instead. x_X Sorry, Xiangbin, unintentional one. :x

I went and play Big Two with Faizal, Ephraim and Serene. Got bored, so played Cheat! after that game. Serene was pissed off by my collecting tactic as well. -.- C'mon, seriously, stop getting pissed off by my awesome strategies. :P Okay, I copied it from Yoshida, but that doesn't mean that it isn't awesome. :P

Everyone was damn high during the countdown for the New Year, lol. Lots of shouting and cheering. Everyone watching the countdown on television and shouting along, "TEN! NINE! EIGHT!", etc., lol. Mdm Low and Ephraim were leaving together right after the countdown, and we were using those silk shooting party thingies and shooting at them as they leave. XD

Everyone even yum seng as we drink wine, lol. That effectively explains why the girls were complaining two days ago when Yoshida, Vernon and I drank the wine Yoshida brought, they wanted to leave it until New Year. Though, drinking wine in disposable plastic cups really spoilt the mood a bit... XP We held the "yum seng" damn long, lol, long enough for complete strangers to come and join us in, standing at our entrances, holding their own cups of beer and wine up high and screaming along with us. XD

The atmosphere was so high, it was damn enjoyable, haha. People cheering out loud, some singing Auld Lang Syne (I remember that in primary school days, when we learnt how to play that song on the recorder, we always refer to it as "all lang sai". XD Didn't help that "sai" means "shit" in Singlish :P), even people jumping on the bed! :D I just had to pluck out the sign from the wall that says "Guests are reminded to keep their noise levels down after 11.30pm to remain considerate to other guests." and point it out to everyone. XD

After that, most of them went out, presumably to continue the celebration, leaving only Sze Ling, Cynthia, Serene and I left. The four of us went out as well, hastening to catch up with them. Oh, yes, Cynthia locked the door. To prevent sneaky, stupid thieves. ^_^

Lol, at midnight outside, with three girls. Call me pessimist or whatever, but who knows what could happen in the dark night? Call me paranoid or whatever, but what if something happens to them? I just felt as if I should protect them from whatever evil pops out of the darkness, haha. :P

俺は君達が守るだ!

Note: Ore wa kimi-tachi ga mamoru da!; I will protect all of you!

Damn, I think the high class atmosphere got to me as well. Along the way, leaving the chalet compound, I was greeting complete strangers "Happy New Year!!". XD Some greeted me back enthusiastically, "Happy New Year!! :D", some at least were polite enough to make a reply, "Ah, Happy New Year.", others treated me like an idiot and didn't even bother to reply though. D:

Finally, after a long walk, we caught up with the others at Downtown East. The guys were leaning one side at the entrance of Wild Wild Wet, looking bored and wanting to head back to the chalet room so they can play mahjong, cards and PSP. The girls, on the other hand, were standing at one side, all wanting to go inside to the D'Marquee tent-thingy to celebrate. Sze Ling, Cynthia and Serene headed into the group of girls, while I joined the group of guys.

In the end, the girls decide to head on ahead without the guys, while the guys decide to get the key from Cynthia and head back (don't even know why they came out then, in that case). And I was like, "Hey, guys, what the hell? You are just going to leave eleven defenseless girls out alone outside at 1am!?"

俺も行く!

Note: Ore mo iku!; I'm going as well!

And so, wow, three cute girls to protect suddenly became eleven cute girls to protect. I was hoping then that I don't screw up. :x No matter, I WILL protect all of you! O_O

The entrance was literally flooded, just because there were security checks. Lol. Had to wait a long time to get in lah. Zzzzzz... Huiling spotted a 1.5 litre bottle of coke on the floor, yay! :D Precious coca-cola...! O_O I picked it up and examined it. Hmm, it doesn't seem opened yet. I decided to take it along with me, bringing it back to the chalet room later so all of us can enjoy a cup, but bleh, a rather disappointing sign at the security check explains why an unopened bottle of coca-cola, complete with plastic bag, is doing on the floor: "NO BOTTLED LIQUIDS IS ALLOWED IN HERE". =___________________________=

Oh well, no free lunches in this world, bleh. Utterly disappointed, I put the bottle down and, to get a kick out of it, kick it. No puns intended. :P

Waiting for our turn at the stupid security check was boring. They were playing God is a Girl, lol. I'm thankful for playing Super Dancer Online, in which fortunately God is a Girl is a level 1 song. Or else, I would have never hear that song before. =.= I had fun snapping my fingers thrice in a row to the beat while waiting, haha. Killed some boredom doing that. XP

The stupid guards were like slowly checking four people at one time, hence explaining the choke. And the one at our queue let the girls all go first but stop me, and let people from other queues go first. =.= Grateful to the girls for stopping to wait for me after the security check. :P

Fantastic lights effect, I must say. I'd appreciate it if they can lower the volume though. My ear drums are going to burst. That's why I prefer listening to music using earphones. You can actually freaking adjust the volume. -.- Whoever tells me that listening to extremely loud music rocks can come over here and let me kick his small-fry ass. -.- And what? You trying to save money on lighting? Why is it so dark in there?

Seriously, man, when I went in behind the girls, I was extremely glad that I came along. Lots of them all fit the "gangster" description I have in my head. Dyed hair, check (after meeting Andy, I sort of concluded that everyone who dyed his hair is a gangster. For that, I am extremely glad to know that ONLY Kenneth in my whole entire class went to dye his hair =.= If anyone would like to persuade me otherwise, please try). Cigarettes, check (okay, not all, just a few. Those few really made me tense up, to be honest). Damn.

Call me pessimist and shit, but I was expecting everyone of them to be hostile. After all, come on, the girls I'm with are all so cute (:P), so who knows what those bastards might want to do with them? Okay, sorry, but I always think of the worse possible scenario, so I can think up of an action plan against it early. That's just how I am. *nods*

Looking at the potentially huge number of people that I might possibly have to fight was rather fearful, but then again, I thought, "I don't care if I'm up against a thousand people, as long as I can protect them and continue to watch the smiles on their faces, I will fight on!" Heh, that was rather corny, but hey, it did put some courage back into me.

And there was one of them, whoa. Looks so evil, so fierce, and so strong. "It's going to be a hard fight," I thought to myself, wishing that I had brought a penknife along with me to put in my pocket for self-defense. Okay, spending my time at work with a penknife in my right pocket for cutting boxes have sort of made me rely on them. I need them in my pocket to feel safe. Then again, it wouldn't have pass the security check, haha. That made me heave a sigh of relief; it means that my potential opponents shouldn't possibly be armed either.

Next, I was worrying and hoping that they wouldn't summon their swords out of their left arms using magic, like Syaoran and Kurogane in Tsubasa: RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE.

Lol, out of all of the songs I listen there, other than God is a Girl, the only song I've heard before is Everytime We Touch, lol. Thanks to whoever chose that song for our class performance. Oh, and thanks to Vernon for sending it to me as well. The girls were all so high when the starting introduction of Everytime We Touch is played, lol. Some even started singing, haha.

I blame animes for filling up my playlist with so many J-pop songs, allowing little space for English ones. :O

The worst happened later. It was chaotic and happened in a swift second. There were suddenly a lot of pushing, and on the look of fear and worry on Huiping's face, I knew something was wrong. One guy, for some reason, pushed another guy, and rather unfortunately, Huiping was behind the second guy. I quickly raised my left arm and blocked the second guy, pushing him back. I didn't dare to let my guard down as my left arm continued to shield her, as I stared at him with angry eyes, thinking, "You want a fight? Bring it on. I won't forgive anyone who dare to mess around with my classmates."

Oops. I did it, I provoked that bastard. He walked up to behind me and stared at me (even though he was behind, I kept an eye on him, through the corner of my eye. Don't think I'm an idiot.), putting his hands beside my head and making some hand sign that I interpret as, "Oi, kid, ye sure ye wanna fight?" Phew, I'm rather glad I didn't start panicking, because I found my thinking to remain normal. "If I strike first, whatever nakama he has is sure to gang me, which I don't know how many, putting me at a disadvantage, and others will see it that I started the fight, so I'll be at a disadvantage. If I turn around and stare at him, though, that might further provoke him, and others will also see that I'm trying to start a fight. Best is to look away, wait for his first strike, counter it and strike."

Yeah, I'm actually trying to avoid trouble for once. I've grown up. ^_^

Seven or eight policemen and guards soon came and broke the chaotic crowd up though, and those gangsters left. Judging from how many people came and stared at me, he looked as if he had five or six nakama. Bring it on, I wouldn't back down even if you call ten. I backed down once, losing my honour and pride along with it, and I'm not going to back down again. That's... what I decided when I came to this place.

Just kidding about the "What a load of shit" part. :P

Though, I'm rather glad that out of the crowd, I still managed to spot a few people whom in my opinions look like righteous people. Yeah, I'm not sure if they REALLY are righteous or not, but whatever, grateful for their existences. I'd cry if every teenager in Singapore looks like a gangster. XD

Oh, and I think the girls are glad of my being there too... So they don't have to ask random strangers to take photos for them... =.= Oh well, I'm still glad I went. Who knows what could have happened if I didn't.

After re-reading what I have typed so far, I thought to myself, "Damn, Samy. It must be either that you grow up in a hostile environment, where strangers and familiar people alike would hostilely attack you out of a sudden for no reason at all, or you play too many games where you are thrown into the above-mentioned scenario." Yeah, haha, I'm like that, don't mind me. ^_^

We went back to the chalet room after they had enough fun (my heart was beating like crap, man. It sucks being a pessimist -.-). Faizal called me a "lady's man", lmao. Well, after all, I was the only guy who went. Oi, you guys, I'd be glad if next time, one of you came along as well and give me a hand. =.=

Was sitting on the bed beside Faizal watching television. I dozed off without realizing it and slept for three hours before waking up at 5am. XD

Morning was the standard boringness. I'm grateful for the existence of my handphone.

Finally, I'm approaching the end. =.=

At about 8am, I decided to leave with Kenneth, Alvin, Dao Hsen, and a pair of guys from another class. No idea how they got here. We split up at the bus stop, and I proceeded to walk to the MRT Station alone to get home.

Hmm... So I guess this is it, huh, 4R2? Our very last gathering? Had a great time with you guys these two years, haha. :D Good luck for your futures, and let us remain to keep in contact with one another! :)

"class chalet was okay. Half the time was really fun but the other half realllly sucked. One thing's for sure: it woulda sucked alot less if I knew how to speak in Chinese..."
-From Faizal's blog
I laughed out loud, especially since I remembered helping him translate a lot of stuff from Kenneth and Chengliang during essential conversations, like discussing what to do next, since most of the time he's just sitting down there, unable to understand what we are talking about and oblivious to what we are going to do next, even though we look as if ready to leave already. XD

Do I fight in order to protect?
Or do I protect in order to fight?
